You’re not late. You’re not behind. You’re right on time.

Whether your tree has been up since November or you’re just now clearing a spot on the table for a single candle, you are exactly where you need to be. As we kick off 15 days of Cupsmas at 7 Cups, we want to start by checking in with you!

❄️ How does this season actually feel for you this year?

❄️ What is one thing on your "holiday to-do list" that you still need to do? Are there things you can let go of?

❄️ What is one tiny, specific thing (a certain scent, a song, a specific mug) that has made it feel like the holidays this week?

How does this season actually feel for you this year?  It was ok until I found out that a friend of mine tried to kill herself back in November.

❄️ What is one thing on your "holiday to-do list" that you still need to do? Are there things you can let go of?  I send email cards to penpals on Christmas eve.

❄️ What is one tiny, specific thing (a certain scent, a song, a specific mug) that has made it feel like the holidays this week?  thinking about attending christmas eve at the Vatican online.

Tiring. A little scary. I’m nervous about how I’ll physically hold up with all the travel 😅

Like a pile of 💩. (Am not a fan of holidays in general)

  1. I had a surgery, but attempted to get ahead with presents already purchased mostly. It feels surreal and restful this year, and unscheduled days are different. It feels a little off.

  2. I just have to rest mostly. Put up stockings and get something to fill them with... Maybe coal!

  3. The snow ❄️, cold, a warm jacket, soup, and hot drinks all make the holidays feel like they are here.

I love this time of the year.

We have fifteen people for Christmas dinner, so I have to still do food shopping and get the turkey.

Deliver presents.

It's hectic but I'm good 💚

I always feel a little nostalgic though, missing people who are no longer here 💚

On Christmas eve I like to light a candle, it's a tradition we have, so if a stranger passes by and sees the light, they feel less alone 💚

I like to light white candles for loved ones who have passed 💚

The scents of Christmas for me are of apple, cinnamon, mulled wine.

I like the magic of Christmas 🎄

This season is mostly about studies since i have my exams coming up.

This year the biggest thing is a pre-New Year clean and some shopping. Donating or selling stuff I dont use and cleaning up stuff. And yes I could rremove a lot of stuff I dont use

As for a scent, my new apricot bodywash. It has a warm homey scent even though its not a traditional Christmas scent

One thing on my holiday to-do list that I haven't gotten to yet is wrapping presents. This isn't really a chore to me, I love wrapping presents chosen with care in pretty paper and tying shiny ribbons and bows. I'll make an evening out of it with a holiday movie on in the background.

The other chore I haven't gotten to is getting the last ingredients for the holiday meal. I'm simplifying things a little this year so I'm not cooking the entire day.
