Exciting things in the forums! Listeners, as self care is very important, please check out 7cups community center forum! Loads of information there, and also some fun games and events to take part in. Current projects are 'write a story' and 'Heart2Heart' where listeners can ask their favourite cartoon characters questions, and get a reply in forum from them, we are looking for ATL mentors to help get the teens involved in project, as is a keen interest. Big thank you to all on Listener Events team and those who join events, they would not be nearly as fun without you all! Congratulations all on your recovery journeys, you are all awesome!

The OCD/BFRB forum section is alive again! We're looking for people to help out and be active in the forums, especially people who could become Forum Supporters! As some of you may know, September is Recovery Month and the forum team has a quite a few exciting things in store including subcommunity challenges and forum hunts. The Addiction Support Subcommunity will be partaking in a forum hunt and we've also got some subcommunity organized activities planned including recovery-themed forum and group support discussions, a positive affirmation sharing board, a recovery meeting, and a recovery celebration party featuring a live DJ. The Self-Harm Recovery Sub-Community would like to give a hugeeeeee welcome to @AnyaS as the new support+ topic leader and support team leader of Self-Harm Recovery. The Bear has more news! Last Saturday night I held the most compassionate, supportive and amazing open chat in the self-harm recovery room. There were no issues at all and everyone supported each other. I could just sit and watch the room for a bit and everyone would just keep the room going nice and supportive.

We are trying to find leaders for all sub-communities - I have trained a few new Community Mentor Leaders/ Community Teen Star Leaders recently and I have been looking to some new faces to take these leadership positions as well! Also, I am happy to make sub-communities track more structured - those who are involved already know that we have launched more structured CML system, that we are making Community Mentor track more clear and official and that we are starting a new Room Supporter role - this is all so exciting!
