This might be seen as religious, in my family my brother and sister, then me have had to make a decision about if we want to be catholic and why or why not. There has always been a gentle need to know why you want to be catholic or not, so we can prove that is what we really want (always in kind terms and saying I do not want to be catholic is completely fine).
