Community Meeting this week! Tuesday, July 25 (adult) & Friday, July 28 (teens)! Learn more & RSVP!
For those of you who are interested, Iara & I will host open community discussions this week!! We can talk through some of your ideas for the community, brainstorm and problem solve together. Check out this post on problem solving as a community here. The goal of this discussion will be to identify, prioritize and come up with some solutions on problems we want to solve as a community.
Meetings will happen:
Tuesday, July 25 at 5:00 PM EST in Lauras office chatroom (Adult)
Friday, July 28 at 5:00 PM EST (Teens) with Iara !
All welcome to join in! This will be an adult meeting. You can submit a topic ahead of time here.

Why 5pm EST... It's summer break, people aren't in school, but now like no one from Europe or Asia can realistically attend...
@Lucy probably because site runs in EST time -_- I wish it would be earlier as well as now it's hard to make these meeetings 
@RaCat it does irritate me since sometimes I feel like this site only exists for Americans 😂 there are massive listener centres in Europe and India, for example!

@Lucy Some are still in school and to add onto this, this may be the only time Laura and Iara are available. They are also themselves near/ in the EST timezone and this site runs on EST. So, it's a lot to consider and a lot of things are later in the day for sure. It stinks not everyone can attend but I guess it is what it is!

Basically means that you will be there it comes from the French team "respondez s'il vous plait" which means please respond
@Eccho ohh thanks as I was always wondering what that means :D
@Eccho .... Actually it simply means "please respond" to whatever the invitation is for: event, meeting, wedding, BBQ, picnic, etc. In our setting, for this page, if you were to RSVP it means "Yes I'm coming." But RSVP can (and often does) include "Sorry I cannot come."

Oh, and usually RSVP's include a number too - like 4 accept (will come) and 2 decline (will not attend). ~ Platy
