I hate the new reCAPTCHA
It annoys the hell out of me.. It was nice posting things in the forums.. now its plain annoying with this stupid protection... I think I wont post things anymore...
Thank you all for tagging me in - I have heard from a handful of people that the captcha is causing issues by popping up too frequently or being too confusing, so I will talk to our community managers / dev team to see if there are options to fix some of the irritating features while being able to keep it in place to help with the spam *fingers crossed*

@Anomalia Is it possible to only have it come up if someone doesn't have certain badges?
It hasn't been too bad for me though, less than 50% of my posts.
@AffyAvo - The dev team told me they're looking into what's going on with it coming up so much - having it not happen with certain badges makes sense to me, but I'm not sure how captchas work. Hopefully a solution is figured out soon!

On an old site I used to be a part of they had capchas and people with a "Certified" badge were exempt from it

It seems better already so I don't know if it's been fixed or if I'm just posting less?
@LittleLotte I've found it to be way better too! Beginning of the weekend it was going wild, maybe just a bug that caused so many issues? I'm so glad it's a whole lot calmer on the reCAPTCHA front now. 
Idea of reCAPTCHA is nice as it controls spamming activities.
However, it slows down the process at times. Takes time to submit even after making verification.
