2021/2022 Reflection

I hope you all are well!
@ASilentObserver recommended I make this post. At the end of every year, I ask our team to do the following:
Please share any thoughts, ideas, reflections, poems, images that represent 7 Cups 2021 to you and then what you imagine 2022 will bring as well. If comfortable, write a little about what the ideas/images mean to you to help us better understand your perspective.
We’d love to extend this exercise to you!

I began my listener journey only in November, so I don't know much about 7 Cups in 2021. From everything I've seen since November, 7 Cups is now a vast network of people who are passionate about making 7 Cups and the world better.
I see 7 Cups becoming more widely recognized for its friendly culture and community and its encouragement of the growth of everyone who works for it in 2022.

2021
2021 was a difficult year for me and I am super glad I found cups. I wasn't in a good place before I joined cups but after getting so much emotional support and knowing theres always someone to listen and hear you out things got better. After I started my healing journey i decided to sign up as a listner and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love the community that we all have built. 2021 was tough but so was I (haha) A big thank you to the whole community.
2022
I am whole heartedly looking forward to 2022 I also cannot wait to see how we progress and all the new initiatives. Hopefully we can make the upcoming year even better. Everyone should know that when things get tough cups will be here- just simply be here. Cups will be here through out your journey.

This is a poem I wrote, in reflection:
From little seedlings comes growth,
But breezy winds might get in the way of goals.
It's unity that helped me stand strong,
And our 2021 word "hope" that helped me when things felt wrong.
When it rained it poured,
But so did everyone's trust in me help me soar.

I do not keep track of things,
So the year ending is always a surprising thing.
If I did "wrap" the year that flew by,
I still see the resilience of a butterfly.
And for the time that has to come,
I wish to do my best and help everyone,
Remember that trying is the only sun.
Even in the darkness,
Growth chimes.
And into a new year, I will hold on to the word: Strive.
For it aligns well with hope and growth, holds no bounds, yet is something that we can all "try".

For myself. 2021: heartbroken and alone. 2022: with my soulmate.
Too many funerals and passing this year for me. Hopefully next year will be a little better.
Aw so disheartening to hear that, @MoonLightShadow423 ! I hope the next year is better and over time , you're able to find some calm amidst the grief , always at your pace ofcourse. Glad you're in 7 cups . Offering comfy hugs ❤

hey glen! this year has been a bit of a wild ride for me. there has been so much going on in my studies and with my friends its a little hard to keep up, but hey, i'm hanging in there.

2021: When I first joined 7 Cups in September, I was in a pretty rough place. With the coronavirus pandemic brought some difficult challenges, such as not being able to see the rest of my family and transferring to a completely online and asynchronous platform from an in-person public high school. While searching for some emotional support resources on Google, I found this website and at the time, I did not know that it would change my life for the better!
2022: Starting in January, I would have been here for 4 months! 7 Cups had made such a huge difference in my life for the better, since I learned some self-care techniques and how to cope with my struggles. I have a feeling that this coming year will be a great one, with all of my 7 Cups friends to support me!
