2021/2022 Reflection

I hope you all are well!
@ASilentObserver recommended I make this post. At the end of every year, I ask our team to do the following:
Please share any thoughts, ideas, reflections, poems, images that represent 7 Cups 2021 to you and then what you imagine 2022 will bring as well. If comfortable, write a little about what the ideas/images mean to you to help us better understand your perspective.
We’d love to extend this exercise to you!

2021 has been a mixed bag with so many challenges yet great strides in my personal life.
Look forward to contributing even more on 7cups in 2022. I have to move on in my head and heart and further on my spiritual and holistic path.

I am beyond grateful for this community ❤️ I became a listener this year and is has been a wonderful experience! There are so many kind and incredible people who make 7 Cups what it is and for that I thank you all! It has been an eventful year full of ups and downs but I know I always have this community to lean on!

Another fantastic year is yet to come! 😊 I look forward to seeing all the exciting things happening on this site in the upcoming year! We are all about unity and making the world a better place and we have done just that! I hope we continue to grow and help more people ❤️

Hello everyone . I hope you are all doing great. 2021 has been a rough year for us all and it has taught us what we can do without and still manage to move forward. I hope 2022 helps us all give a little to people in need and remember we will still manage and we are not alone.

2021 was a year of unveiling the things and people that have handicapped my life. It became crystal clear that it was finally time to transition out of toxicity! Light was shed on just unhealthy my work situation, my former boyfriends, and my emotionally ill-equipped parents were. Now that I've seen the light, I've changed jobs and am now ready to set fixed boundaries with my parents.
2022 will be all about remothering myself through proper self-care, finding God and training on emotional intelligence!!! It's time to heal! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

In closing,
I gotta say first, it would be so cool if 7cups could enable growth path builders to embed content from sites like 7taps
and also especially sites like genial.ly
because genial.ly can integrate content from all kinds of useful sites for creating microlearning interactive material.
And finally,
I give my special heartfelt thanks to GlenM and everyone who made the growth path tools possible.
Without it, I never could have made that long journey.
7Cups is the only place I know of where such a journey is possible.

I envision that in 2022, 7Cups will:

Enable growth path builders to embed more types of content
besides just basic things like YouTube.
For example, enable embedding:
- Content from genial.ly
because genial.ly can embed content from many other sites
so let genial.ly do all that technical work rather than 7cups.
- Content from a-i embodied bots that can speak text.
- Content from interactive tools so users can take action while on a growth path, like:
Share a step with social media while taking a step (VERY IMPORTANT!!!).
Set a new goal based on what they just learned.
Set daily reminders to do the new goal.
Take notes while learning a step.
Track progress while implementing the goal.
Ask the growth path creator a question about a step.
Give feedback to the growth path creator about a step.

Enable growth path builders to see real-time user-view counts
- So path builders can see which paths and steps are popular and how far users are getting down paths. Then path builders can improve their paths faster because they are getting that feedback.

Create a "snack" search webpage in 7Cups where users can:
- Find a quick solution step "snack" they need right away and enjoy it in minutes rather than have to search and search through carousels and carousels of mysterious growth paths and try to figure out which growth path has the particular step they need right now.

Achieve minimal key capabilities needed so growth paths and snack steps can become popular, used frequently, stored easily for future use, and shared easily with social media sites, by making it very easy to:
- Share a favorite step with social media sites.
- Find the step they need now immediately.
- See the step displayed that they need now immediately.
and not have to navigate through a maze to get to what they want.
- See content on a mobile device screen effectively.
(tiny user-relevant bites, not wordy, not multi-topic, instead very focused, very short, like 7 taps or less).
-- See value in the step or path so they'll bother to follow it, like:
-- See the step is relevant to their life.
-- See the step can be effective for them.
-- See the path will give them the control in the process so they will get what they need.
-- See that the path material is actionable for them and not just information that was pasted into a growth path format but is not really a growth path that leads to somewhere specific that has impact on the user's life.

7 Cups will see much better growth paths after the critical key things above are enabled.
For example 7Cups will see growth paths with:
- Extensive user participation activities,
beyond "play a video", "click a link" or "enter text in a box below".
- Gamification.
- Users acting on material while on the path.
- Users setting goals, setting reminders, taking notes, checking their progress daily.
- University and other academic participation in creating growth paths.
-- They will become interested especially if they see 7cups could be a platform for them to test their growth paths and see feedback from the users in view-counts, like-counts, social-media-share-counts, and other types of feedback, like user comments and user path-effectiveness ratings.
- So it is very important to get the key few things in place for growth path use and popularity to significantly grow in 2022.
That's what I envision for 2022.
- I hope many great things happen in 2022 with growth paths.
- I hope that growth paths and especially tiny "snackable" steps become very popular.
- I hope that tiny snackable steps are shared widely by users by them clicking on social medial sharing buttons as they take a step.
- I hope that the tiny snackable steps are made so they are very effective and help users reach their goals in changing their situations.

I really like the way this chat bot sounds!
Also I really like the freedom I have using Genial.ly.
I can create a microlearning snack quickly for free.
Genial.ly does all the work of being an "all in one" resource.
What Genial.ly doesn't have, it enables you to get from other places.
In 2022, 7Cups could very easily enable growth path builders to embed high quality microlearning snacks in path steps using Genial.ly or other similar providers.

By the way, the future is NOW for others, meaning,
7Cups is behind in this compared to the education world,
so will eventually need to catch up.
Genial.ly and similar providers are enabling microlearning that is already widely embedded around the world in Secondary Schools, Universities, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Social Network, and even advertising.
This is the future NOW.
It is content that is interactive.
It enables gamification. It enables user participation.
It's time to embrace the future and unleash our potential!

Here is more on
how I imagine 2022 for 7cups.
The video below is about Symbaloo, a free growth path tool.
I imagine it shows how 7cups will evolve in 2022 and beyond.
I imagine that 7cups may decide to evolve in similar ways as Symbaloo.
Or I imagine that 7cups might decide to use Symbaloo to create and share 7cups growth paths with 7cups members and or the rest of the world.
So I also could imagine 7cups communities starting to use Symbaloo right now for 7cups related activities.
7cups is already using Google Docs and YouTube, Vimeo, and other resources.
It is only a matter of time before 7cups catches up and starts using resources like Symbaloo or evolves in a similar way.
The world today is using a blended mix of education tools.
The successful will adapt and progress quickly.
I see 7cups adapting in 2022 to using the new education tools environment.

My vision for 2022 is that
7cups will enable the huge growing learning platforms around the world
to connect to 7cups growth path steps.
Also 7cups activities will soon start using the worlds learning platforms more and more as resources.
So I am very eager to see how amazing 7cups looks like by the end of 2022.
In response to this I would like to share a simple quote with a lot of meaning to me. Some of you may have heard of the Greek god Atlas. He tried to take over and become the god of the heavens and as punishment he had to carry the world on his back. Sometimes we try to do what’s best for us and to achieve great things and it instead it feels like we’re just being punished.

Hey @GlenM, this post that you have made is so significant for me and makes me think about a lot of things that has happened this year of 2021, bad and good moments, difficulties, obstacles, days when I had no will to do nothing, but I think that this is life... and we can always fight to become a better person....
I think I can say that 2021 has been the best year of my life after all, I was blessed with an little angel that just changed everything since the moment I saw her for the first time....
7 Cups for me not just in 2021 is an amazing thing and Community that I'm proud to be able to contribute. Since 2017 I'm kind of happier because I feel so good here, and supporting and this makes me so happy and seeing how many people also is a part of this Community to make a world a better place is so admirable, seeing people of all around the world joining their efforts and being all together to do the good, to share love, compassion, kindness ,empathy and all the good things makes me have more faith in life and in people.
Now talking about self growth, this really describes me, 2021 has been the year that I had the more amazing and indescribable transformation in life, and I hope that in 2022 I can be the most amazing mom for my little baby.... this is my goal... and of course continuing being part of 7 Cups....
