Do you suffer from brain fog on a regular basis? Occasionally if I am very over tired from lack of sleep or in pain, I feel focusing is difficult.
What kind of symptoms do you experience? It is just difficult to get motivated and see and think clearly.
@amiablePeace77
Do you suffer from brain fog on a regular basis? To be honest, I don't think so
What kind of symptoms do you experience? None
@WorkingitThrough2
Good for you!
@Fradiga
Thanks😊
@amiablePeace77 😮😮 I get this thing where I can feel my head clouding over and I get a bit shaky and I can't hear properly someone has to talk to me or touch my shoulder and just call my mame, to snap me out of whatever it is, this happens regularly I just thought it is a mental health thing. Is it something bad??
@Tinywhisper11
I'm not a professional and it might be good to talk to a doctor about it if it happens regularly, sounds like dissociation to me. We all dissociate midly occasionally like in form of daydreaming, just when it becomes regularly like for example due to trauma it does need attention. 💙
@amiablePeace77 ok ❤thanks ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 I'm sure it's nothing bad probably just being caused by something but I'm philanthropist
@affableTown5581 wow auto correct really screwed me with that message lmaooo

"Brain fog" is a rather new expression and it does not mean the same thing for everyone. For instance, at my age, it has become difficult to retain stuff, like a new poem. I was able to learn, then play by memory, rather long classical music pieces until one day in my 50s, I realized that I could still play pieces I had learned long ago, but the new ones would simply not stick and I had to keep reading most of the score while I played. It could also have come from the chemotherapy several years back when I just wasn't feeling like my old self.
For others, it means being distracted most of the time. Some is permanent and some is punctual (say a morning-after situation). When losing your thread while you tell a story or using a word for another, the new expression is "brain fart". It also applies to many other situations.
I wonder what physicians call those different states which we throw together as "brain fog"?
@Fradiga
Learning and retaining new things gets harder in age, our cognitive power slows down. Nice though that you can remember the old pieces.
I'm glad that the chemo helped and you're with us 💙
Thank you! Those were the days my friend!
