For context: In my country (US) there are a lot of unnecessary things allowed in our food that are ban Europe & other places due to health risks.
The good news: In January the FDA (food & drug Administration) announced red Dye #3 will be banned & must be removed from all ingest able products by 2028.
Its small, but I am celebrating the step forward!

Wow, that camera dates back to 1970! Nessie should come to the surface to explain who they are! 😀 Still now the species in Loss Ness have not been fully discovered by humans 😮
3/4 of world countries have joined the Belt and Road Initiative. 54.6% of the world's population is in BRICS. These stats are both set to increase over time. Multipolarity will lead to a world where global trade and decision making will be more democratic and equitable. It is likely to allow us all to build the cooperation necessary to meaningfully address climate collapse and on-going injustices, such as colonialism.

Some of those good news are really karma hitting politicians we do not like. But then, gloating is wrong.
Otherwise, I am sure somewhere, someone won a large sum at a lottery and some recent scientific discovery has great applications for humanity.
A far-right politician in France (along with another 20 people in her party) has finally been found guilty of fraud and sentenced. I am expecting her to show up on my 7cups page for some commiseration which she will get, of course.

There are so many good things happening like discoveries and of course also lottery wins, even if the happiness of those wins might not last very long. The consequence of bad karma can be hard for sure, nice that you would be commiserate in case she comes but how would you know it's her unless she is mentioning it?

How would I know? I can guess just by the way she uses language. When I was in convent, there was a "game" during literature classes where we were given a paragraph of text without the name of the author and we were asked to guess who could have written it. To some extent, this can be applied to chats also. I often recognize people here who come back under a new username.
There have been some new Alzheimer's drugs developed, and there is talk about one that they're working on that could possibly prevent symptoms in certain at-risk people.
Hopefully other countries will be working hard on this since the *** in charge here in the US have cut funding support for Alzheimer's research.

It would be wonderful and prevent a lot of suffering if those drugs could be marketed very soon. Some decisions people take are very hard to understand.

A man lived nearly a year on an implanted mechanical heart. It was removed when it was replaced with a donor heart. So it could likely have worked for longer. This is great for future people with heart failure.

The good news I heard today is that in the US there’s apparently a rally going all across the country to protest against the current president Trump and Musk. Whether the rally yields good results or not the fact that the rally involves people who are doing what they can to protest Trump and Musk instead of being too afraid to is still great news. Across America today people are standing up and saying “we the people” against the current leadership. Almost four million people (and maybe more) in cities from coast to coast are banding together.
It does my heart good to know that we aren’t going to just let our country slide into a whole, and so many millions of us want the rest of the world to know we love ya and this current regime doesn’t represent “we the people.” ❤️
