The Way of the River community is live!

We are excited to announce that The Way of the River now has a dedicated home base!!
What is the Way of the River?
This series uses the metaphor of a river to explore personal growth and mental wellness. It is broken down into a clear path for you to follow:
1. Exploring Life as a River
2. Navigating Your Own Kayak
3. Paddling Alongside Others
4. Charting a Course for All of Us
5. The River Map & Finding Your Flow
The Way of the River is unique because it was built by the community for the community. The concepts in these courses are the very foundations that 7 Cups was built upon. They are the lessons we have learned from each other over the years. This series finally puts those shared truths into a map we can all use. It is a journey designed to help you navigate the shifts and turns of life with more intention and resilience.
By participating, you gain access to a framework for self-awareness and compassionate connection. You also have the chance to earn badges like The First Paddle and River Guide as you reach new milestones in this 5-part series!
This new forum space is designed as a cohesive pathway to guide you through the series. We encourage everyone to subscribe to the community to stay updated on new course releases, group discussions, and community milestones.

I've been enjoying what people are sharing so far 💚🤗
Incredibly, this is the first time I noticed "Exploring Life AS a River." I've been visualizing myself as a river aka a conduit for positive energy, love, you know, all the good stuff, for a very long time. I attribute the habit to how I've survived without burnout and sometimes even physical collapse, during some of the most demanding and stressful times in my life.
The concept came to me at a time when I was exhausted and discouraged. I was struggling to avoid being immobilized by grief. The thing that got my attention was noticing when I was caring for others, it helped with my mood and energy.
I'm reminded of a quote I read years ago, "Just as you can't whistle while chewing crackers, you can't be depressed while giving love." Even if you're generally depressed, caring about (it doesn't always have to be for) others, helps to elevate your spirit.
I guess we're animated bits of river, in a kayak, on the river. 😄

@Heather225
Even who has already started the River Serie should still sign up to join the group room or are we already in?
@The24hrClimber
Yes just because I don't have an automated way to know who's taking part in the series (yet), but since you're already doing it I will badge you and send you the invite!
@The24hrClimber I’m one of the participants! See you soon if we’ve not chatted yet - I think I did see you around before, 24 😀
@Heather225 Great, Heather. Post saved and will be getting started - look forward to joining 🌷Thank you
@Heather225
Yayyy! Excited to see everyone's participation in the room😄💚
@Heather225 Ooohh, just saw there is a community, it somehow slipped by me... Busy with all the learning in the internship at the moment, but this is so interesting!!
