Confront or deny
@decisiveLemon8530 It's best to deal with it because it's always gonna end up resurfacing no matter how long it takes.
You can't truly move forward till you deal with it. There are areas we have to learn from... that's just how life is... and until we introspect and analyse our experiences we can't grow... but if we haven't errored we can move forward by ignoring the wrong done to us.
Hmm I’m at a point where I have no choice but to confront it like recognizing and confronting old patterns. I wish I could deny all I want 😂
Rn I'm at the point of just ignoring my past
@decisiveLemon8530 Philosophically, self-forgiveness involves acknowledging your flaws and taking responsibility for your actions, while also accepting that being human means making mistakes. The goal is to come to terms with yourself so you can move on. Self-forgiveness isn't about simply letting go of guilt without reflection or making changes.

i learn from it, then move forward without letting it hold me back.
Confront it but if it becomes too much take a break and relax. Once I'm able to deal with it again I try to process it in a safe place and take deep breaths. It's ok to talk to someone you trust if you need help processing it with someone else.
I deal with it too much honestly. it’s a problem but i can’t leave the stuff out of my mind..
I think it's important to Accept your past, but trying to do anything more than that is futile. We can't change the past, but we can accept what happened and do our best to move forward while knowing those things. Knowing the past can help us make a better future, but we shouldn't fixate on it to the point that we're ignoring the present.
As someone who used to run from their past, I'm a firm believe in dealing with it is the only real way you can move on and allow your past to simply be the past.
