@CheeryMango, I just started the 3 things I'm grateful for each day thing with Amiable Peace.

Gratitude is something you would clasp your hands together in thanks for. Gratitude is the same as being deeply thankful.

I’m grateful for my dad and friends I’ve made through the year. I practice gratitude by acknowledging the things I’m grateful for each day. I used to keep a gratitude journal because the say the more you’re grateful the more things you will receive to be thankful for as well. I am thankful for my university, for my dad, for my friends and for 7 cups and yes my counselor. The food I receive everyday and water to drink. When I’m anxious I remember what my mom told me to drink some cold water. So I am also grateful for the memories I have of my mother who I loved very much!🌺

What kind of ways do you practice gratitude in your daily life?

- I take some time off and go to a quiet room and prayer and give thanks for those around me. I often feel grateful nowadays for where I am right now in my right even if it may not be the happiest times, I have all the things another being would dream of.

How would you describe gratitude to someone who has never heard the word before

- Simply being grateful of what we have right now and the goodness in it, showing and giving thanks for those around us. For me gratitude isn't about appreciating our biggest achievements, it's about the little things we take for granted and the things that keeps us alive and in good health.

1. I practice gratitude by telling the ones I love just how much I truly love them every day.

2. Gratitude is making sure you treasure the people in your life, the roof over your head, your job etc. Gratitude to me is just another form of love.

@CheeryMango woooooh i suppose i practice gratitude by talking about it to people in my life?? or even just to myself lol i have the tendency to smile to myself about how lucky i feel for the loving things and relationships i engage with. my partner and i often tell each other how grateful we are to have such a special relationship w one another.

i would describe gratitude as the warmth and almost excitement you feel when you step back for a moment, look at yourself, and feel very lucky for what you love

I spend every morning doing a 21 self love challenge. It has been very helpful. Especially with the affirmations everyday. It's the only positive words I say to myself all day.

@LayneGirl What is the 21 day self love challenge? Is there a separate thread for it ? I'm interested to do it too.

I spend around 5 minutes in the morning reading from my gratitude journal or just thinking what i have to be grateful for and 5 minutes at night before going to bed making entries in my gratitude journal of things I'm grateful for that dat.

What kind of ways do you practice gratitude in your daily life?

I would say I practice gratitude in my life by remembering the things I am grateful for and expressing my gratitude by telling my mother she is the best !! or anything to have a positive start

How would you describe gratitude to someone who has never heard the word before?

gratitude for me means being thankful for everything that is there, be it something small or big, it to show appreciation and thankfulness to what you have and to return that to someone else

I've done a few specific practices for short stretches, most of the time I just allow it as it comes in my life though.

Gratitude is the feeling you have for things you feel grateful for, the things you appreciate. Showing appreciation is a way to express gratitude.

Simply look around every day, and count my blessings. Fortunate to live in a beautiful place and be in good health.

What kind of ways do you practice gratitude in your daily life?

I try to write in my 5-minute Journal app every day.

How would you describe gratitude to someone who has never heard the word before?

Gratitude is a form of acceptance of the present moment. It's also a form of love for oneself and for people who help you. Gratitude is a good practice, and it can make you happier than ever.
