August Wellness Month Prompts Series: "A Little Something..."

Wellness shouldn't feel like a chore. With these simple, actionable prompts, my goal is to help make it feel more manageable.
Let's start with your body:
👤 What is one small thing you did today to nurture your body? It could be a walk, a stretch, or even dancing to your favorite song while doing the dishes! Maybe some grooming or self-care! Share your 'little something' with us.
🌱 Challenge yourself to build up a healthy habit by returning to this post every day for the rest of August and share your little something you did for your body.
🤝 And to really make this series wealthy and healthy, respond to your peers to give kudos and encouragement!
Looking forward to celebrating better wellness for everyone!

I woke up And did a nice stretch. Felt a good pop too.
Now I’m doing my intentions for the day and did some breathing exercises 🧘
@peachThinker662

So glad!!! They always feel good!!
I took a long walk around this wonderful garden with beautiful musical fountains. My whole family on my wife’s side were there and it’s an hour long stroll in the nice cool evening wind. It was spectacular, and now back to our hotel with the view of this amazing garden bordered with a huge dam wall! Just grateful for this and it was worth the 4 hour drive from the city. 🌆

if you're comfortable/able to, i'd love to see a pic of the garden! i hope the rest of your trip is incredible!
Sure @Heather225
I’ll hit you up with the pictures and the video of the fountain.

Since the mornings are getting cooler around here, I've begun walking to work again! Its been really nice since I have been really bad lately with getting enough movement throughout the day, even with my sporadic park walks.
@cafedaydreams
oh that sounds wonderful! it's so convenient when you can find a way to build in exercise/movment without having to take the extra time and brainpower to find space for it every day. how long is the walk?
@Heather225
It's about a 5-10 minute walk. About 4-5 blocks away. ^^
@Heather225 I started my day with a glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice and honey added.
I started my day with a tai chi routine
I went for a bike ride, about 6 miles, to the lake and back.
@Heather225

I soaked my tired feet in cool epson salt water and gave myself an awesome pedicure. My piggies are happy now 👣
I simply took a day off from work and relaxed.
