For what it’s worth, knowing you even a little from just here on 7 cups, I can attest that anybody who has the privilege to be your friend, would be super blessed, you show up and show up strong not just for your friends but anyone who you see needing some showing up and support. Just from this, I believe you would have been a 100% invested in that friendship, and given it your all, so really it’s not your loss if someone wasn’t capable of matching your energy and reciprocating your friendship.
Despite that, I know how it hurts and hey, you can take your time processing how you feel okiee. Here with youu! 💖

I’m sorry redeemed. It’s difficult to digest. But, I’ve encountered friends, who tried really hard to befriend only to be consumed by jealously later on. Not because of who, I am but merely for being happier, then speaking ill. Like our savior once said, forgive them for “they know not what they do,”. Pray for them and love them. But you don’t “need to like them”. That last one, is one I’ve used myself.

Its always heartbreaking when you think youre on the same page with someone only to realise it was your own perception; they were different from how you painted them in your mind. The shock and confusion must be a lot to deal with and maybe you will take some time to process why you were more emotionally involved if the other side wasn't truly reciprocating. It will lead to self awareness and approaching friendships differently in the future ? I think it's important to be your own friend, to give yourself the type of love you give to others. Do you think caution and protection of your energy is the way to go forward? The love you give is never lost though - it comes back to you from another source , usually in a larger amount. (That's one of my philosophies). Let us know more 💛
