🌟💙 My First Cupsversary! 🌟💙

Hello friends! 

One year ago, I joined 7 Cups not really knowing what to expect. I was looking for volunteer hours as I was studying Peer Support. Looking back, I can honestly say it has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding journeys I've been on. 🌼

I did not imagine I would be helping people in the way that I am. Not just our members, talking with them, encouraging them, listening patiently to them. Helping our listeners grow. Seeing them being proud of their achievements has only enrichened this experience. What I truly never expected was the incredible people I would meet along the way. Over the past year, I've made unique connections that I'll always treasure. I've been lucky enough to meet some truly sweet friends and get to know so many wonderful members of this community. Every conversation, whether it was filled with laughter, encouragement, thoughtful discussion, compassion, or simply quiet understanding, has reminded me how much kindness exists in the world. 💖

This past year has also been a year of personal growth. I've learned so much about myself. My strengths, my challenges, and the areas where I still want to grow. I've become more confident in expressing myself, more patient with both myself and others, and more open to seeing different perspectives. I've learned that meaningful connections aren't built overnight. They're built through listening, empathy, honesty, and showing up for one another. 

Being part of this community has also helped me become more comfortable interacting and engaging with people. I've learned how to communicate with greater compassion, how to support others while respecting boundaries, and how much even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone's day. Those lessons are ones I'll carry with me far beyond 7 Cups.

To everyone who has shared a conversation with me, made me smile, offered encouragement, or simply been part of this journey: thank you. You've made this first year unforgettable, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed.

Here's to celebrating my first Cupsversary, to all of the friendships and memories that made it special, and to many more meaningful conversations and connections in the years ahead. Thank you for making 7 Cups feel like a place where people like me can truly belong. ❤️
