❄️ Looking back at this past year, what is one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the "quiet" moments?

❄️ What do you want to carry forwards into the new year?

❄️ What is one thing that never fails to warm your spirit? This can be a specific hobby, a person, a dream, or a small daily habit

❄️ If you could leave one worry, one habit, or one "should" behind in the darkness of this longest night, what would it be?

Reacting to others with anger or a lesser form of it like irritation or gruffness. Be kind and compassionate to all. It is not them that offends my sense of rightness, but their behavior that I object to. I wish to never condemn the person but instead to recognize that it it is their behavior that is out of line. Condemning someone to being bad makes them into an enemy. On the other hand, bad behavior can be changed when the person realizes that behavior is not leading to happiness.

Looking back at this past year, what is one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the "quiet" moments?

Strength isn’t always visible or loud or “loudly visible”, just because at times I can’t see it for myself, doesn’t mean it’s not there.

❄️ What do you want to carry forwards into the new year?

Gratitude. Hope. Patience.

More living, less everything else.

❄️ What is one thing that never fails to warm your spirit? This can be a specific hobby, a person, a dream, or a small daily habit

My faith in the universe’s magic.

❄️ If you could leave one worry, one habit, or one "should" behind in the darkness of this longest night, what would it be?

Underestimating myself.

🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷✨✨✨✨✨🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

1. What I have learned in the quiet moments?

In the silence that follows a heavy chat I have learned that my presence alone is enough. I have discovered that I do not need to be a fixer to be a healer. In the quiet I have realized that my own capacity for empathy is a well that does not run dry but it also requires me to sit in stillness to replenish it. I have learned that holding space for others has taught me how to hold space for myself.

2. What I want to carry forward?

I want to carry forward the Golden Threads of Connection. Those brief profound moments where a stranger across the world felt safe enough to exhale because of me. I will carry forward the reminder that human kindness is a universal language and that even in a digital world a heart to heart connection remains the most powerful tool for change.

3. What never fails to warm my spirit?

It is the Shift in Tone. That moment in a 7Cups room when a person’s words change from I cannot go on to I think I will try. Beyond the platform it might be the small ritual of a warm or cold 😁 drink or the peace of my own home after a day of absorbing others' emotions. It is the realization that by being there for them and helping them find their light I have brightened my own.

4. What I want to leave behind in the darkness?

I want to leave behind the Weight of the Unsolved. As a Listener it is easy to carry the shoulds like I should have said more I should have saved them or I should be able to stop their pain. I will leave behind the habit of carrying other people’s stories as if they were my own burdens. I will let the darkness of the longest night take away the guilt of being only human so I can enter the new year lighter and more focused on the help I can give ✨🙏🌷

@SoulfullyAButterfly

year, what is one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the "quiet" moments?

Something I’ve learned in the quiet moments is that it’s ok to have quiet moments. I’m slowly learning what it is to “sit with my feelings”

❄️ What do you want to carry forwards into the new year?

I definitely want to hold onto the verb of love. I learned a lot of it this year

❄️ What is one thing that never fails to warm your spirit? This can be a specific hobby, a person, a dream, or a small daily habit

Having someone to talk to everyday

❄️ If you could leave one worry, one habit, or one "should" behind in the darkness of this longest night, what would it be?

The criticism of myself

Yay, Solstice rep! Thanks for creating these!

❄️ What do you want to carry forwards into the new year?

A determined and calm mindset, and hope that 2026 will offset all the unfortunate events of 2025 that so many have experienced. I like to believe the universe is the cosmic balancer, and going through the hard stuff prepares you for the reward of all you learned in effect.

❄️ Looking back at this past year, what is one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the "quiet" moments?

I am so thankful I asked for help in my life, and I stopped trying to go about the hard things in life by myself. I'm so grateful for the help I receive, and everything I have.

❄️ What do you want to carry forwards into the new year?

I would like to carry all of my education forward into a career.

❄️ What is one thing that never fails to warm your spirit? This can be a specific hobby, a person, a dream, or a small daily habit

Talking with my 22 year old son about his dreams, goals, and ambitions. When I'm by myself, my daily planning/art/stickers/pens/journals bring me so much happiness.

❄️ If you could leave one worry, one habit, or one "should" behind in the darkness of this longest night, what would it be?

Worrying about my relationship with my family. They are the only people outside of my tribe, and I keep my distance. Things are very good between us, but I know that doesn't last forever, and this time around, I haven't tried to build bridges I didn't burn down. I want to stay "boundary healthy".
