Collecting positive experiences 😊
By regularly participating in activities that we enjoy, as well as setting and working toward long-term goals, most of the negative experiences we have won’t seem as detrimental.

I am just going to make sure I get out for a walk and some fresh air every day, even if it's just a walk around the house for a minute.
@thoughtfulmomma
Nice that still go for a walk around the house if you can't go for a longer one to you stick to your healthy habit!
@thoughtfulmomma
Walking helps both physically and mentally.
This is so thoughtful of you to indulge in simple yet beneficiary health routine.
Appreciations for you. Claps..
@enigmaticpanda4152
It absolutely does. I started walking about a year ago - forcing myself to get out of the house...in the middle of winter! :) But, I started feeling better. Every time I went out and got into nature, I started to feel better. I just need to keep doing it.
@amiablePeace77
I rarely plan ahead unless it involves someone else. I am unable to feel anticipatory pleasure.
I have a friend coming over on the 13th to do some blacksmithing but I am not looking forward to it.
@Gettingbettertoday
I hope you two will have a good time. Do you have a particular project for that time?
Some people feel that exercise helps them with the inability of anticipating pleasure. I hope coming here will give you support.
@amiablePeace77
There is no project set. We will figure that out as we go.
It is quite taxing. I am usually both Physically and menially tired by the time we are done.
I have been getting together 2 to 3 times a month for several years and have not noticed any change in my Anhedonia.
Get organized to start my classes and plan to balance my time studying and with my family.
@rebeccastgo
Learning takes a lot of focus so it does make sense getting well organized in advance 👍
Thank you!
@amiablePeace77
It's really cold in the Midwest and as much as I dislike cold weather, I've been making the effort to go to dance classes and or the gym to exercise. Both help me warm up physically and socially/emotionally so I am looking forward to going to class later tonite!
