What’s a spiritual lesson you understood too late? 🍀
What’s a spiritual lesson you understood too late??? 🌙
For examples,
- forgiveness
- patience
- ego
- gratitude
- prayer during pain
Maybe something pain, silence, loneliness, prayer, or life itself taught you slowly over time.
What’s one lesson that changed the way you see life now??

@AiluraTheCat I always learn the need to trust, especially when things are uncertain or challenging. I've learned this lesson 1000s of times. There is always still more to learn. Good question!
@GlenM
Beautiful reflection 😊!
I'm working on that part, I'm learning, struggling but keep moving forward 😊!
Thank for sharing this with us, GlenM!
@GlenM
trust a hard one we still not learned that one as far as to other humans but we trust God
@AiluraTheCat
No patience 😂
Still didn't learn that.
Ego? Who me 😂👑
Mine would be trust.
I trust in Jesus but sometimes I want things answered right now like a petulant child abd it's taken years of steadfastness and work to learn this 🩷
@Amanda84
Haha!! This is totally me 😂!
I sometimes sit aggressively with my Allah in prayer 😂, to answer back as quickly as possible, I definitely act like a petulant child 😁, but only with my God, and my faith sometimes breaks and reserats itself out of nowhere 😂!
I think I needed to work on stability! 😂
@AiluraTheCat
Yes, consistency 💙 😁
@Amanda84
think a lot of us like that want answers not but we learned God always answers but at times it no or wait other times it now
@AiluraTheCat prayer during pain. When my father died last 2024, I realized that I could still praise God even if I felt like my whole life was shattered to pieces. There were still days when I would cry and be guilty for the lost time, but God gave me Grace
@ahj
I'm sorry to hear about your father:) It must have been difficult for you to reconcile those days, let alone accept the loss.
But I can see strength and gratitude to God! It is difficult to maintain gratitude when everything around you is shattered, allow yourself to grieve while being grateful. ❤️.
I'm proud of you, and I'm glad to know that God gave you the strength to endure this heavy day.
@AiluraTheCat I learned I need to try it out in my life and see if it works for me.
@soulsings
That sounds fantastic 😊! You have an appreciative mindset when you learn and apply it in life to see if it works out for me. 😊
@AiluraTheCat thank you for your supportive words.
Well that is my goal. If I set a goal I know when I actually achieve it.
@AiluraTheCat hi👋 oh, what a nice question.
I just fully understood lately the power of Gratitude and Optimism.
Appreciating every li'l things with positive outlook can truly be an encouragement. And as I notice, I slowly become less and less stress.
On top of that, I became more thankful and closer to God❤️
@YeeCafechino
Aww, thank you 😊!
This is fantastic and relatable; not everyone would be able to do it.
I have a tendency to look for the positive outcomes in every action I take and every hardship that life presents to me.
Yeah... You are completely correct when you remain grateful and optimistic. My experience has led me to believe that we can see the big picture of our lives. <3 🤗
@AiluraTheCat
think the one we learned late was that love from Father God is not like actions our dad did to us we was ok with Jesus but for long time due to what our dad did we was scared of Father God
as far as one that changed our life not sure as from young age we felt and like heard God we had no one to depend on in life other then God so He from young age who we called out too
@stormieandpaws
Hey, Stormie 😊! Hope you have a great day ahead ❤️!
I'm sorry to hear that your relationship with your father. it is so amazing to hear you found that kind of solace in your god! I'm amazed to hear you could able to hear and feel him ❤️!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us 😊
@AiluraTheCat
your very welcome had a amazing one of many in a near death at around 16 months wear due to our oldest brother teasing us with a rubber ducky in a waiting pool when mom was not watching we was on outside of the pool he was within it he was about 4yr well we fell in and well in that we felt like in tunnal say like light beings we believe now was angles lining the sides of the tunnal at the far in was a brightly shining being we felt this amazing love we never felt on earth we heard the words it not your time My child then we was in like a big big hand with water running through the fingars we saw our body being over a car seat a person who lived by us hitting our back then was like being put back into our body and we gasp for air then was breathing mom took us to ER and they checked us out not remember if stayed over night or not
that was our first of many near deaths but from that and church we at age 3yr accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior we fully understood what that met what He did for us as the pastors at that church questioned us and they made comment we better understood it then many older ones
think without Jesus Christ in our life we not be here as we lived in abuse all our life up until may 2017 when we moved away from family we live in 24/7 physical pain lots of health issues but still content due to Christ in us and knowing that when we pass from this life a better one coming
hope is ok to share this as it why we know a Father love that only one we never felt who truly loves us and accepts us
@AiluraTheCat
I don't know, sometimes it feels like I haven't leaned anything wise in years. I just keep trying and failing to be love. In my heart, soul, and mind, I want to want the best for everyone. Sometimes I fail but if you want the best for someone else you'll treat them with love for love is the best, you'll show them respect and kindness, humility, knowledge, truth, the truth is the best even if it hurts, but if you want what's best for them you'll give them the truth while trying to make it hurt the least. Idk if that makes sense but that's my view, not sure when I fully learned this but it's been awhile, and I have failed a lot for the past few years because I let me emotions get in the way, but I am trying so hard
@7Bear7 I fail and try to learn from my mistakes. I cal that trying rather than failing. Keep trying is my mantra.
@AiluraTheCat I learned that Tawakkul (placing complete trust in Allah) isn't about trusting without making any effort, and Sabr (patience) isn't about silently tolerating injustice. It's always about doing what's in your power, and then surrendering the outcome 🤍
Value of free will, value of humanity and spiritual sovereignty. I gave up those precious things out of ignorance. Some might call it, selling your soul to the devil. I regret, but maybe it is too late at my point.
@AiluraTheCat I think I have issues wit each of them but the easiest one I have found dat has been wit me for years now is gratitude. There is always somethin’ dat we can be grateful for. However my most challenging one is forgiveness. For the most part I have forgiven all who had abused me my first 35 years of life but theres one person I know now who societies wit my daughter-the abuse the girl has done to my daughter and my family and I I find so hard to forgive. I realize she has been abused growing up as well as has the disease of alcoholism and yet I am trying hard to forgive. The other one I have the biggest issue in forgiving is myself. Then Prayer during pain-I Don’t Know I am not great at it and yet I am fairly spiritual. I may not always pray in great sincerity and yet God is always in the forefront of my mind andI will often reflect on what I need do to be better for him and ask him to bring healing in my time of pain.
@eternalHero77 I remind myself that forgiveness does not mean I condone the action or make it less harmful than it was. Forgiveness is letting go of the ruminations, blaming, shaming and anger because all of those make my life miserable. "What you did and who you are are two different things. I see you are in pain and I have compassion for that suffering. What you did was not right but you must find peace within yourself. No one else can do that for you."
