Introducing: 7cupsForums Account
Hello, all!
I am excited to announce that we are launching the @7CupsForums account!
Our forum team manages site-wide forum moderation, and we want to ensure your questions and concerns about the forums are addressed promptly and effectively. By providing one aligned forum account, we aim to streamline communication with the community. In addition, forum moderation team members will rotate on the account.
This account will only be used for pms and not be tagged in the community. Please utilize the flag button or email forum@7cups.com for any concerning issues or bugs you may see in the forums.
You will be contacted by @7cupsForums for the following reasons:
To be updated on an edit that was made in your post
To be updated as to why your post was deleted + guidelines that were violated
Please DO NOT tag or PM @7cupsforums for the following reasons:
You want to report someone or something specific
You want to share confidential information
You are requesting a chat or need support
You want to ask about an application/role you're waiting on
To ask about the status of your account (rejected, if it's being reviewed, etc)
All queries will be responded to within 72 hours or less.

(Honest question since I don't get here or post every day) I've never had a serious run-in with anyone here so far. Have only had to report one person for being a complete a**hole in a couple threads but up to now, he's the sole exception.

@slowdecline48 I don't think the forums have more inappropriate posts compared to a year ago. What has changed is just how people are informed though, there was a thread where people would be tagged if their post was deleted but some (understandably) didn't like being listed in a thread that way. This account allows for users to be messaged privately.
Yes, you are correct in terms that this account is to inform people of deletions, not to ask questions. That doesn't mean questions are discouraged! Depending on the nature they can be asked in the forums, by messaging an appropriate leader or by emailing forum@7cups.com
