Monthly Glimmers – February 2026
Welcome to the February 2026 edition of Monthly Glimmers.
This is a space to share the moments from this month that brought comfort, relief, or joy. They can be small, everyday moments or bigger things that made a meaningful difference in your month. Every glimmer matters.
Some examples you could share:
A cup of coffee or tea that started your day right
A quiet walk, a new spot you discovered, or a place that felt comforting
Finding something you needed or wanted on sale
A habit, routine, or small accomplishment that helped you feel steadier
A moment that made you smile or feel lighter
Something big or special that made January feel meaningful
Drop your glimmer in the comments. Take your time. There are no requirements, no pressure, and no judgment. This is just a space to notice what helped you this month.
You can add your glimmers at any time, even after Feb ends, but please make sure they are moments that actually happened in Feb.
At the end of the year, we’ll be able to look back at all the glimmers shared and see the small sparks that added up over time.
Let’s celebrate the moments, big and small, that help us get through Feb.

I had a wonderful interaction in the loneliness support room today and enjoyed everyone company! X
I love the idea of collecting these to view at the end of the year! I'll be sure to swing back here throughout the month.

Starting a program at the local community college has really helped me get a routine going, and hopefully will open up some new employment opportunities soon. It’s unfortunate that the job market in my area is what it is, but I’ve been able to turn a negative into a positive by being with supper supportive family who love me and continually improving myself.

I’ve made pen pals with people I truly enjoy talking to, and it makes me feel so much better. I’m having a good time on 7 Cups, which helps keep me away from my distress. Lately, I’ve been enjoying interacting with people across the forums. Their support makes me feel alive and engaged. 🤗.
Today, I received 2 anonymous shoutouts for my work in Group Support on 7 Cups, the loneliness huddle! The words shared were very empowering and appreciative. Gratitude for gratitude!
February 2nd, today is the first day in my new role with my career. It's an additional "title" to my current career. I met my first cohort of students from the College today, and let's just say, I have never talked so much in 6.5 hours time! But it was nice to finally meet my students (I have six), and started giving them the Orientation of the department.
Teaching had always been a secondary dream career for me, which developed back in 2021. I even completed a Certificate back then, that allows me to teach English as a Foreign Language overseas (TEFL), but I never got the chance to actually teach English overseas. Teaching itself, was still in my dreams.
So, after I transferred to a different health authority (hospital) last May, one of my Supervisors appointed me to the College to become a Clinical Instructor, and this is why I am now having my first cohort of students. Working as a Tech at my current hospital, I can say I love my career. It's something I have passion for and the moment I step foot into the Hospital, I feel energized. Now, my second dream career has come true, to be able to teach. It's a total bonus for me. At the end of the class today, one of my students asked me if I was tired, as I saw a couple of them where starting to look sleepy. I told them, because I like this work, I actually feel energized and sometimes I felt like I was functioning with adrenaline rush.
So, February is starting off good. At first, I was a bit nervous meeting my students, but I'm glad they are all female. They all seem like a good group. So, I'll see how things go in the three months I have with them.
@Hope Excited for everyone golden glimmers - more successes for all of you! Truly well done! <3
