Looks awesome ! Love it
It looks good Kate!
I really like it just... when I joined 7cups I was 13 and two months. It just looks very adult which is not bad but maybe a teen friendlier version as well. I am not sure what they would look like but it looks really professional rather than... kind of simple and welcoming to teens. So you do not have a teen on there and it is professional language with professional logos not like "Need to talk somewhere safe? Click here" that kind of thing. Again I am not saying it looks bad or anything like that, it just looks like it is for adults only. When I started using it I was really scared but it helped me a lot and it still does. So seeing it I am thinking oh that is for adults not for teens. Which is a bad thing because when I first joined I was really confused, scared, upset and did not know what was going on. It would be bad if someone who is a teen saw it and thought it was not welcoming to them. Not sure if I am making sense. I hope that is positive feedback, I am not trying to me nasty or mean at all.
Yes, that's a very interesting observation. This looks like it's designed for investors. People who need support are an afterthought. People who don't trust multinational corporations can just go away. The first thing on our mind is The Wall Street Journal.
I'm disappointed.
@AmalieAnne
@AmalieAnnI love your observation, you are spot on! Maybe 7Cups could add in a single line perhaps something simple like "we welcome and offer emotional support to teenagers and adults" that covers everyone from 13 and over?
@AmalieAnne - Great point and definitely valuable feedback to hear from a teen perspective :)
@Kate
Wow Kate I love this!!! Great idea!
@Kate I love it!
And what if you're in crisis when you visit this page?
@Kate
@RarelyCharlie I agree with this and other critiques. The proposed redesign feels promotional rather than informational. Is the intended audience potential end users, or future investors/contractors? It's difficult from my perspective as a member to interpret something this cold and clinical as a safe space (especially for youth). This is more suited for use as PR copy or the landing page for a corporate parent site. @kate @john7ux
@ Kate i think this is exciting!!!!!!
