@amiablePeace77. To me easter means chocolate eggss 🤤 hope, renewal and life beyond can mean so many things a baby being born, the sun rising once again, a second chance or a true love, a flower in bloom. We have a beautiful world full of life, and I'm so thankful to be part of it 💖💖

I have family friends who share their cakes for Easter💕😋
For me, hope, renewal and new life means, watching a butterfly around flowers, playing with kids and relishing their joy, admiring flowers and their beauty for hours, cuddling with a dog, waking up another day and knowing that I'm alive, watering my garden plants, realization that it's not the end until it's fantastic and absolutely awesome!

All religions talk about renewal and love of life. That is beyond religious belief, that is in the fabric of life itself.

Lots of great memories around Easter. As a parish choir singer, sacristy director, warden and all that, it meant that we were FINALLY going to take a break. When I was young, Easter meant going to church with my grandma and her explaining what was going on and why incense smelled so good. The previous Sunday (Palm Sunday), we had yew branches all decorated with Easter chocolate or sugar eggs wrapped in foil. Easter Sunday was a huge lunch with tons of relatives too.
Christmas cannot happen without Easter. It would not make sense

What means hope, renewal, and new life beyond religion?
I am new life with a fresh new beginning, another opportunity for a fresh start. What I did not achieve before has the ability to blossom or spring forth. I am alive so I have hope of rewriting the things that were messed up in my life to being able to spring forth with a new attitude and disposition.
It,s not easy but we are a work in progress. Never give up❤️

@amiablePeace77 Easter means vibrancy, colour, new life, creation, a recharge, time for reflection. A time for Jesus, a time to ask ourselves are we speaking out , are we witnesses to our faith, are we setting an example?

Since my mom passed away last year in January, I have no family left and Easter is a time of sadness for me. I go to the cemetery and "celebrate" Easter there 😞😞

Thank you, I appreciate it. I had candles in my home yesterday instead of Easter eggs.. 😔 As most of my family is gone and I'm 50. Gonna spend a lot more Easters and Christmases without family... 😞
