7 Cups Values Series Week 0 (Pre-Journey): Our Mission & Building a Better World
Hi, community!
I've been thinking quite a bit about the core, and the heart, and the soul of 7 Cups, from the community to the foundation upon which we stand. There's a lot of 7 Cups lore that most who've come here in recent years may not be aware of. I am launching a special 7-week forum series aptly called The 7 Cups Values Series, to learn what they (our values) are and explore what they mean to us.
But before we look at the how (our values), let’s talk about the why (our mission).
7 Cups of Tea is for anyone who wants to live in a world where the human experience is free from stigma and stereotypes and rich with love and support. A world where all 7 billion of us can grow and feel like we truly belong.
We believe that each one of us is inherently valuable. We do not measure people based on where they are from, what they look like, or what position they hold. We recognize that people make sense in the larger story of their lives. We understand that people are complicated and that life is not simple or easy.

Well I came here for help but the first day I stepped here was became a listener so I never really chatted with a listener I think only 1 and with that one I never shared something but I m a listener here for one reason
Being here makes me feel that I can truly give something and offer a chance to other people to be heard and helped.
My reason is this: I never got any proper help and I promised to my self that I will help people whenever I can and whenever they ask me to.

I have been with 7 cups since 2017. I really enjoy mentoring new listeners in their journey here. As I was new once, I want to give back the support and confidence in someone becoming a listener
