As far as tips go for being a new listener, sure. Just be yourself. Read as much as you can and learn as you go. Ask questions when you need. Take advantage of everything 7 Cups has to offer. Explore forumland and have fun. Be personable and approachable and just be yourself. Don't try and overdo it when helping support others. Take breaks for yourself and make yourself a priority too. Enjoy what you do and let your goodness speak for itself-- shine for itself. Accept the differences amongst others and don't judge. As time goes by, you'll notice where you can do the most good. Again, just be you, enjoy, and have fun. Best of luck to you! 💙

Hello I'm G Im always online and been looking for support, information and generally to find out how other people are doing? I'm female in my 50's very introverted, I suffer from anxiety, mainly social and panic attacks. Healthwise not been great either as I get older, (dont mention the M word). Relationship not in great place. I Left social media with its negativity, adverts and doom scrolling. Tried other 'platforms' but there always seems to be a catch and someone wants something from me. Interested in giving this a try tho bit bamboozled by the options for now. Anyway thats me hello! I hope you are doing ok today?

Hi all
I came to 7 cups due to old platform use to chat on kinda no longer active. So found 7 cups as a member first. Then became a listener. Am very new at being a listener. Became one due to in my past I owned and helped at many chatroom/forums. As I listened to others in 24/7 support room found that many wanted a listener that could be there for them and also be safe. So my main goal is to listen and be a safe person for members.
Right now learning new stuff here on 7 cups
I am part of a DID system and will be one who mainly will be the active listener on 7 cups
