Hi everyone! To appreciate the continued efforts of our academy leadership team, we are launching ‘Academy Awards’.
What are academy awards?
They are an acknowledgment initiative to honor those who consistently provide support to academy trainees. All academy leaders, including project agents, academy mentors, mentor leaders, and ambassadors can be nominated.
We have also included academy graduates, and trainees/interns in this category of people who can be nominated. The condition is that you must have been supported by this person in your academy journey to nominate them for the award and they need to be associated with the academy.
What happens when one gets nominated?
*
One trainee/intern is able to nominate the same academy person only once every month. A trainee/intern may nominate upto 5 different academy personnel each month.
*
Each time a person is nominated, they get added to a list of nominees with a next to their username. You get one next to your username for each time you are nominated.
*
Once you have 10 , you are eligible to receive a certificate of appreciation from 7 Cups Academy for your efforts. This will have your real name which will be asked when you become eligible. It will look like this:
We will announce the list of academy awardees in the first week of every month. This will be alerted to the community so we can all take part in appreciating the people dedicating to supporting our trainees/interns
Lets get nominating! Click HERE [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeEZIVi3mnziP54xaUoWYZVzI5Xmzg_BcNpKwdE_ac-Hr7BSA/viewform]

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is well. I think we have to acknowledge that it is challenging to meet our own set goals. Repeatedly in life, we wish to achieve things yet we are at times unable to do the same despite our desires. We want to help you meet your academy goals.
To help you reflect on the commitment you are making we have come up with an academy oath. From now and onwards, this oath is a requirement to join any academy program. We encourage current trainees/interns to take it but is not required for them. Though if you apply for an academy program from now and onwards, you must have taken this oath.
How does one take the oath?
Copy the italic part of the oath ad and fill in the program and your first name or username. Make sure to sign it using your username/first name or initials. It is important that you read the oath out loud before submitting it as a response to this post.
7 Cups Academy Oath
I ___, make a commitment to myself and 7 Cups Academy that I will do my best to complete the (insert program) By applying for the program, I show understanding that I have the time to dedicate to the program and I intend to complete the program. I will respect the time of all those who support me during this academy journey by staying committed to the goal of graduating from the program.
Signed,
Insert Name
Note: This is not required for the community building and time management courses as those are academy courses, not programs.

The 7 Cups Academy is a tuition-free institution that trains members, listeners, and researchers to develop skills and better care for our community. These are professional skills that are of great use even outside 7 Cups. We believe in practice-driven learning and all of our courses have in-field experience at the core.
This post is dedicated to providing listeners with the information they need on opportunities available to them within 7 Cups Academy.
The 7 Cups Academy has had 1343 graduates and currently has 158 enrolled trainees
How is 7 Cups Academy different from training guides or other educational material available at 7 Cups?
The academy programs target specific skills like leadership, content development, etc. Trainees not only get theoretical knowledge of the subject but also spend time practicing the skills under our practicum opportunities.
That is not all, one of the challenging parts of learning something new is that it can be an isolating experience and at times you may feel like the motivation is fading. At 7 Cups Academy, we understand your support needs. We have mentors who check in with you regularly to help you navigate the set of requirements and to offer support and encouragement.
Additionally, we believe in a student-led approach. Feedback from our trainees results in constant improvements to the program’s coursework and structure. An example of this is our launch of group check-ins [https://www.7cups.com/forum/7CupsAcademy_208/AcademySessions_2207/AcademyWeeklyCheckinsNowAvailable_284393/] where academy trainees can connect with fellow trainees and share experiences.

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is common to have questions regarding your academy program journey. It can be challenging to wait for a response so to provide speedy support, we have decided to have this one central thread where all academy trainees/interns can ask questions related to their academy journey.
Here is how to get support!
Respond to this thread with your question(s) and the program you are enrolled in. Remember, more information is better than less information. Provide context where needed so you can get speedy answers.
Who can respond to the questions?
Academy mentors, graduates, and even trainees if they are sure of the answer! Feel free to support each other and provide tips!
Make sure to keep an eye on your notifications so you can check the thread for answers. You can expect an answer within 24-30 hours.
