If I was in your position, I would keep myself busy with some friends or do my favorite hobbies. You should try out hiking or surfing. It's really great!

Breakups are difficult. But in the words of Robert Frost, "Life goes on". The first step is to go full 'no contact', that means deleting their number, unfollowing them on social media and even blocking them if necessary, avoiding common places where you might meet them, and you could even ask your friends not to talk about them. Out of Sight. Out of Mind. There are number of different steps post this. For me personally, I divert all the pain, the sadness, the anger and frustration into working out. Its benefits are as much mental as it is physical. This doesn't have to be a gym membership but anything else that will divert your focus into something that builds you up while keeping you distracted.
