Some might say that there are several answers to this question from very clear indications such as name-calling, harassment and other kinds of verbal or other abuse while others might not be as clear-cut. If your dad is saying things to you that make you feel hurt, unsafe, scared or in any other way as though you're not well, it could be verbal abuse. We're not able to give a clear and accurate account because you know what's going on best however, there are resources you can reach out to if you are feeling like you're in an abusive situation. You deserve to be safe at home and that includes emotional safety along with physical safety.
