Being Excluded
I was with some people today, and they were joking around and yelling and teasing each other about something. Probably something dumb and inconsequential, given how they were talking. I was basically in the middle of everything. Everyone else knew what the topic was, what was going on… And no one told me what was going on. Absolutely everyone else knew. And I wasn’t allowed to know.
It’s not the first time.
I know that they’re just humoring me. They always do. I’m not actually wanted there… But I’m there, so they just kinda put up with me.
I’m used to that.
But being left out like that…
That hurts. It made me feel really insecure and I knew I wasn’t wanted.
I exist too. I’m human. I’m part of the group. Whether I’m wanted or not.
That’s not right. You don’t treat people like that…
PSA…
For anyone reading this, please don’t do this to anyone else. Even if you’re not that fond of them… Don’t purposely exclude them. It hurts when you don’t act like they exist. Especially for the teens here… Learn this lesson early. Include everyone. Whether you want them around or not, whether they fit in or not, whether they’re popular or an outcast or in between. Include them.
You never know where that person is mentally. Whether you loving them might save their life.
So welcome them. Include them. Love them.
@jesusredeemedme2425 "So welcome them. Include them. Love them."
⬆️ This right here is deep! Love it.
Sending you a great big hug 🤗 your way, Kiara. You did not deserve how you were treated today. I'm so sorry that happened. Being excluded is definitely hurtful. I hope you find forgiveness in your heart and healing. You deserve to have been treated so much better.
Thanks for the sweet reminder of how we shouldn't act. I hope others take your words to heart and keep this in mind. Xoxo.

Im sorry you were excluded, sending you hugs 💜 When I was growing up, there was over 100 kids where I lived, we all played together, there was no such thing, as you couldn't play or leaving anyone out and no ones parents ever gave out about anyone, they left us all to work it out together 🥰💜
@jesusredeemedme2425 idk how they cld have not wanted you around. Silly people...they must br blind to how amazing you are. Youre right, excluding someone is never the way to go. I wish you didnt hv deal with that so much 😔
@jesusredeemedme2425
Sadly, I can 100% relate.
So can I, but for the better part of 5 decades, I have always been the odd man out, standing on the outside looking in.
@jesusredeemedme2425, you are not alone.💜 <3
I hate this when people, specially the group your a part of does it... like when you try to be part of it, and having to convience your own people that you matter.
I don't let anyone feel like they're stranger, always try to include them into conversations and try to make them feel heard, but sometimes when someone from my own group purposefully make other person feel bad by excluding harshly I always try to stand up... even though no one listens mostly but when this happens I always try to see myself on the place of someone else's who is facing them. and it helps me understand their feelings and emotions myself.
during my school year's and even now sometimes, I face these situations and distance myself if I feel like I'm not wanted and no one cares about my presence... and try to spend that precious time instead of being hurt, with people who actually love and care.
Ik it's not always the same... and sometimes things happen, and you need to be a part of the group for some reasons. when I feel like this I always try to make one or two good people and invest more of my time with them instead of trying to seek validation and attention from the ones that seem not to care about my presence...
still the feelings stays and it hurts when you're ignored or brushed off... or talked behind sometimes even by your own people sometimes and you can't seem to defend or let them know out of fear of being made fun off... I always try my best to be kind and appreciate the other persons presence, even if they're strangers...
Sometimes being kind turns out to be good sometimes it turns out to be taken advantage off... But always try to see yourself on place of someone else's, and it'll make people be more gentle towards one another.
@jesusredeemedme2425
That's terrible. I've had that done to me and I hated it.
Maybe they aren't the nicest people to hang out with.
I wish you the best.
I can relate, sorry you went through this
@jesusredeemedme2425 thank you for sharing your feelings . This is a very important topic.
Ive felt like this way for a lifetime... I suppose. ..
Yes people should include others and not make them feel different ... we should all try to be more sensitive to others around us.
But if it happens - remember we also have the power to alleviate our pain.
I take what I get and dont expect and dont place my survival at their feet.

🫂
not gonna lie they are probably not worth knowing. I am sorry you experienced this, I know the pain.
To come here while hurting and promote change is admirable.
Let’s not match such energy and strive to be and live the change we wish to see.
i hope you are ok.
