Day 6: 💓 Forgiveness in Our Greenhouse 💓

💗 Hay you wonderfuls 💗

💓🐑💓

😮‍💨 Today’s path was a tough one for me😮‍💨
Simply because forgiveness isn’t always easy, and it definitely isn’t “one-size-fits-all”.

I’ve often been quick to forgive, but there are moments when I’m just not ready.
🤗 And that’s okay 🤗

📍A friend reminded me recently:
“It’s okay not to forgive yet. But if someone apologizes,
acknowledge their courage. Just say thank you.”

That shifted something in me🤔
💗I realized I can honor their effort without rushing my own healing💗

Forgiveness isn’t about excusing harm, not at all. It is more about releasing pain.
🧡 It’s choosing peace over poison 🧡
It’s saying, “I deserve to sleep peacefully tonight.”

❄️ There is an Icelandic quote to be found in the path ❄️
🤔 Perhaps it will resonate with you, feel free to give it a good thought 🤔

This quote also really stayed with me:
“You don’t have to rebuild a relationship with everyone you’ve forgiven. You’re allowed to move on.”

🫂 So today, I’m planting a seed of kindness toward myself 🫂
💜 If you’re holding something heavy, maybe it’s time to gently set it down 💜
🙂‍↕️ Not for them, but for you 🙂‍↕️

🌿 Reflection prompts for anyone who wants to share:

💜 What does forgiveness feel like in your body?

🩷 Have you ever forgiven someone and felt the light rush in?

❤️ Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release?

💓🐑💓

💓 I’d love to hear your thoughts, stories, or even just a word that forgiveness brings to mind 💓

What does forgiveness feel like in your body?

Relaxation, tiredness, like the race is over.

🩷 Have you ever forgiven someone and felt the light rush in? No

❤️ Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release? Yes my brother and my sister.
I found this cool thing online. It is a one week forgiveness retreat. There are talks at night and at the other times when anger or sad or scared. You say "I'm sorry you didn't understand." To yourself and to other people in your mind.
Thanks for question.

What does forgiveness feel like in your body?
Like a wash of relief and complete airiness, like you could float.

Have you ever forgiven someone and felt the light rush in?
Yes, and it's almost instantaneous, like my mind and body were just waiting for permission.

Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release?
Not currently, but this is a very strong lesson in closure I learned over the years, and once I did it was so much easier to move on.

💜 What does forgiveness feel like in your body? For me, forgiveness is slow. My body reacts to things and has difficulty recovering.

💓 Have you ever forgiven someone and felt the light rush in? There have been times when I have forgiven someone and felt good about it. Then there are times when I struggle to forgive right away.

❤️ Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release? I forgive those who have wronged me. Whether they are in my life or not.

I am trying my best to forgive others and myself. Sometimes no one's wrong, but we expect them to always understand us, which is a fantasy which leads us to get offended. That may make us feel wronged. Anyways, I am trying my best to forgive. 😊

What does forgiveness feel like in your body?

like a weight been lifted off us

Have you ever forgiven someone and felt the light rush in?

we feel forgiveness is not one time also it to us a active chose  we can make within our healing. it not for them as they will never ask to be forgiven as they believe they did no wrong to us. but  each time something come up we chose to forgive them for that acted. sometimes even that come in layers too but why should we not find freedom in forgiving them for our own good.

Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release?

we been doing that but it on going as the memories come up we chose to forgive not become bitter so it a action to us that on going but we still have a lot to release too. one on the ones we find hard to forgive is ourself in all honestly

Forgiveness should feel soft and freeing and like a pressure or weight off .

But it's difficult .

It can feel unfair.

Compromising.

Torn.

Impossible.

Conflicting.

It's not for the other person, it's for you, it doesn't eradicate the wrong or excuse it, but it gives you the choice to not drown in it 💕💜

Is there someone you’re ready to forgive, not to reconnect, but to release?

I have some old friends that I want to forgive in a way that i can just let them go. I have days I hope they reach back but, I know my forgiveness will release the feelings of "i may not be able to celebrate with them again, but I feel better that I can celebrate myself and with the people who care about my journey."

@AnnaSilverberg recently, I read online:

"to heal you have to accept the lack of satisfaction that comes with forgiving."

i wish i could find the source of that to quote it, but alas, i didn't have the foresight to save it.

Those words really shifted something in me. I hold alot of anger, at a lot of people. I wont be recieving an apology (although it would do me no good otherwise!), or an explanation, or even an acknowledged "I was wrong." But a time has come when I've sort of realized that some of the pain I carry is not mine to bear. Why should I hold the weight of another's mistakes a second longer?

Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, people are messed up. And yeah, I'm still here, and I don't need them, not with apologies, nor as a part of my anger. It's not quite forgiveness, maybe, but we don't need a name for everything xD

It's a good topic to discuss , Anna! 🐳 \(^-^)/

Some people said, not forgiving is like drinking a poison but hoping someone else dies, maybe I don't forgive but I just moved on. So not forgiveness but moved onness, so I don’t drink the poison. 😁
