Very good idea!! That could only be hurtful to sufferers of that mental disorder that has to cause them pain enough. They don’t need a section dedicated to slandering them… it’s Like I feel reading about how people writing in to Quora , always say pw borderline personality disorder ruined their lives. How awful we all are. But my truth….. I’m textbook borderline personality but I’m an empath. I’m sensitive and caring to all people. Forgiving except to myself. The negatives only stay inside of me and everyone else gets the best of me . I feel others pain and take on some of it.

The new guidelines look great! What's the plan for the abuse threads or is that still being sorted out?

@AffyAvo

I believe they would be moved to Trauma Support based on the following:

Guidelines on Trauma and Abuse related content.

Does that mean that in personality disorder forums, we can talk about symptoms and Various treatments but not about why it continues to exist in new victims? A community for personality disorders needs a space to share the reason these disorders are growing more notorious and in more children everyday. A small child got so damaged and broken by their protector… damage that consistently causes horrific pain and a search for a place or person they can connect to and feel safe, that they will never find….The pdcommunity needs to be tbe last stop this once young child should make. To heal, we must encourage each other and each newbie victim to talk about what caused this disorder to develop or we will never stop it from stealing all that makes a life worth living. If I’m wrong I’m sorry for any hurt I am causing. We have had enough separation in our lives and we need space in our own community to share what created tbat torture in our life.

Just to close the loop on this: as of today, we have finished the forum cleaning mentioned in the original post.

  • The "Dealing with Narcissistic Abuse" section has been dissolved.
  • We have finished reviewing the entire subcommunity for forum posts in need of editing and have made updates as needed.
