Feature Update: Forum Categories now have links!

We are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our forums that will greatly improve the accessibility and ease of sharing content!
Starting today, we have implemented a feature that provides direct links to all forum categories, making it effortless to share and locate specific categories.
On the subcommunity’s main page, you’ll see the categories listed as usual on the right-hand side. Simply click on a category, and it will bring it up, and show the URL.
For example, my category H’s Hangout here in Site Updates can now be directly referenced by its link.

FYI I think an unfortunate side effect of this update is that notification links in the app are now broken. If you tap on one it opens the page in the browser instead of going to the thread/post in the app.

@Heather225 this is not an update, this is a downgrade
We used to be able to access them in forums before
An update would be if we could subscribe to such categories (to be notified about new posts made specifically in that category)
@DonaldDraper cool suggestion, don. subscribing to a subforum😮 could also be like, "🔔
🔔this user (the user we subscribed to) has started a new thread!"

It would also be nice to "Follow" people.
For example, receiving notifications for every "New post by Fristo" with a "Follow" button.
But there are so many higher-priority things that I refrained from asking for that in the "Forum Functionality" thread.
It's a "nice to have" but not a necessity.
