@soulsings after I was rescued, I became close to a nurse who worked at the hospital, she would sit with me, calm me down and tell me stories💖 when I was well enough to leave the hospital she gave me a glass cross with the words 'God loves you 'engraved into it, I keep that cross on my bedside cabinet, it's my most treasured pocession💖💖
When I was being kind🤔🤔🤔 well I try to be kind all the time 💖
@Tinywhisper11 you are kind a lot - I do not worry for you!
That is a very touching story of that nurse sitting with you. Nurses often are very busy - she was very kind.
@soulsings 💖💖 she really was, it's because of her I chose Lola as my name💖😁💖 I didn't have birth records or a real name before, I only knew my age, so I had to pick a official name and The nurse told me she always wished she had a daughter named Lola💖
This is so sweet @tinywhisper11
@peachThinker662 💖💖💖
@Tinywhisper11 how sweet she was your guardian angel
@soulsings she really was💖😁💖
@Tinywhisper11
Exactly. A lot of kind people are nice and generous towards others as a matter of habit, hence, they don't even realize which gesture has been significant on anyone else.
@Fradiga so very true 💖 there's nothing quite like the kindness of a stranger💖💖
@soulsings
I still remember my parents , the care they took of me after an operation and their constant love and support! I try to do the same today as I care for them both full time! 💕💜
@Amanda84 awww 💖💖 I bet they are so very very proud of you 💖💖
@Tinywhisper11
I hope they are 💕💜
@amanda84
Your parents have a wonderful supportive daughter! ❤️
@peachThinker662
I hope so 💜💕
@Amanda84 that is very kind of you to repay the kindness
@soulsings
Thank you!

It was years ago, I was at that the grocery store, shuffling through gift cards and my debit card. I still can’t believe it because I had the funds, but the woman in the lane next to me, turned around and swiped her card-walked off and said have a good day. I had tears in my eyes and don’t feel my thank you was enough.
Simple gesture- I like to say hi to people when I’m out, smile to them. Overall, I consider my self to be a kind person. ❤️
Years ago I gave money to a random woman while I was sitting on a park. She said that she has breast cancer and have no money to feed her children. She spoke the same laungage as me, back then I was far away from my hometown so when I heard she spoke like me, it felt like home and I was in a bad place. so... I gave my money (not small amount) to her. Hours later I realized I probably got scam. Lol

Not long ago, my daughter (Fayth) went to the store with me. While there, we seen an elderly gentleman trying to reach large bottled water from the top shelf. I asked if he need assistance. The look on his face looked as if I was an answer to his prayers. He couldn't thank me enough. I said I was more than happy to help. The reason I remember it so well, was the look of pride from my daughters face. She is tall like me and is always seeing it as a curse. I smiled and told her, See, there are a few good things about being tall.

Nothing comes to mind.
I thankfully dont need to use a cane anymore but when i was, there were some kids selling lemonade.
I walked by, and they gave me a free cup, likely because of the cane. Still, it really touched me because im honestly a bigger guy who can look scary, so it was pretty touching cause its more likely for people to avoid me in situations like that. After, their mom stopped me on my way back from my walk asking if i got any lemonade. That kinda confirmed they did it to be nice, since it was likely the mom who raised them that way. I still remember it years later.
So many examples came to mind, I wish I could name them all.
First thing that popped into my head, I had fallen pretty badly at gymnastics practice. While waiting for my parents my coach sat with me and rubbed my back in a really comforting way. Physical touch was a bit foreign for me at that time so when she did that I felt incredibly cared for. She could have just watched me while waiting for my parents to arrive, she could have just asked me questions or spoke to me. But the extra gesture meant way more than I’m sure she realized.
@soulsings
Too many to remember which is the last one.

Does smiling count? Ive given those away abundantly in my life.
@Creamyyy
I love to receive kind smiles from others; it's a precious gift! Sometimes I stand in the mirror and smile kindly at myself too. Ever tried that? 😃
On that note, big smiles for you 🙂🙂🙂
My mirror and I have had a history for sure. We have had moments of joy I haven't experienced with people.
