Even if I can't say it by being 100% confident, it might be because you are scared that your feelings would get denied. It is also possible that you might experience some kind of stress/anxiety by going there, or a simple fear of autority.

Going to the doctor's can give you a sense of clarity or confirmation. If you are scared you might have a certain type of illness, going to the doctor's will help you know if you for sure have it or not. Being afraid to know might be because it is scary to find out if the illness we think we might have could be real. However, the stress that comes from being afraid to go to the doctors could eat away at your mental health. If it is possible that you suspect something is wrong, getting tested would help in the long run and benefit your mental health.
