If a guy wants to friend zone you, take it as a compliment that he values you more than you know. He doesn't want to use you as an object and he doesn't want to sacrifice your friendship for a few turns of lust. It's a lot of fear about losing you. Losing your trust. Guys who friend zone you are used to feeling safe being vulnerable with you... without the baggage of hurting your feelings. The guy idea of consorting might not be a long term stable thing. So just keep in mind he might be trying to protect you from fickle hormones and superficial romantic feelings that he know won't last. If you're willing to lose his friendship for the sake of getting out of the friendzone... let him know you think taking a chance is worth the risk. Be respectful if he's not willing to make that sacrifice of potentially losing you.
