If self harming doesn't work (as there isn't information in which aspect it should be working other than harming yourself i can't know what exactly is in your mind), then you can consider stopping self harming. Self harming and inflicting pain to yourself isn't something you wish to do. Or is it? There are another things which can work better for you than self harming. As i don't know which aspect you have got in mind, i can't suggest you any alternatives. However, there are plenty of alternatives to self harming out there you can try that aren't so harmful for you as self harming.
