...See more I'm a 38 years old man. I'm very skinny (very bony) 50 Kg's. I've been sober for 14 years and still am unbale to put on weight. It's mostly because I feel depressed all the time. I'm long term unemployed. The best thing going for me are my hobbies I play guitar (not advanced however I'd say intermediate +), Reading (I most read science fiction however I once in a while I read other non fiction and fiction genres as well) and I have a twitch gaming channel that has 70 followers (I play age appropriate games. Games that have a deep narrative and lore that a late 30's person would find interesting). I've been single for 14 years. It used to depress me a lot in my late 20's and early 30's however now I guess I'm grown accustomed to it. My happiness now lies in listening to music, playing guitar, reading and playing video games. I tried a sports goods sales and export business however it failed. I worked for an year before the pandemic in healthcare and then later in a flights and hotel booking company but then I quit during the pandemic. I'm from India however I'm quite westernized. English is my primary language. The music I listen to is American and English. I just wanted to say Hi.

Community Guidelines

The following are the guidelines which are specific to the 35 & Over Community. We ask you to follow them, as well as the Forum Guidelines. Their purpose is to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

The main goal of this sub-community is to offer support and a space to share and socialize, for the 7 Cups users who are 35 years old, or older. After reaching a certain age, people have specific life concerns that might not be shared by people who don't have as much life experience.
However, age isn't a requirement to participate in our sub-community.

All Adults are welcome!


However, please understand that teens as young as 13 years old can access these forums, so please keep topics appropriate.

So please:
- Reach out for support from your member account
- Offer support as a member or listener
- Be respectful to everyone
- Add a trigger warning  [TW] if your topic needs it
- Take care of yourself
- Take care of others
