New Academy Mentor Leaders March 2023
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. Today I have an exciting announcement. We have two new mentor leaders joining our academy leadership team! Academy leaders play a foundational role in running the academy programs. We are grateful for their efforts and happy to announce these new additions.
@HealingTalk has been a mentor with the Quality Listening Program for a while. He has been consistent with his role and responsibilities from the beginning. He has come through whenever we have needed support in the program. He has done an excellent job in his trial for the mentor leader role and I am excited to see what the future brings us.
@amiableVision1813 focused on the 7 Cups Internship program. She is an Internship graduate herself. She has been consistently doing her role and has shown a great sense of responsibility. She approaches her tasks with a positive attitude and is always keeping the leadership in the loop with her availability. She is an excellent communicator and we are excited to see her work as a mentor leader

no, I've never lead it 😅
I only remember @NoneTheWiser to be an amazing trauma support community mentor or idk the technical name for their role ...but they were really a blessing and did a lot for the community.

Woohoo Marcelo, this is an incredibly amazing news. You've been a wonderful addition to the community (some would interchangeably use the word "asset" here but it's a word, I'd typically avoid for a hooman bean, but you get the vibe? :P) being proactively compassionate and immensely thoughtful in your interaction and intervention, in every space you're supporting community-wide. Hi there, Vision, this is another proud moment, I remember people who I verified and mentored so I can later tell them "I called this one" when they continue to explore the community, find a fit and tell the world as well as to how magnificent they are~ lol kidding ahah (also not really 😛).
I was amazed when you first stepped up to become a mentor, and now this is so so so much more commendable. Extremely proud of you and wishing you the best as you ace this fantastic new role! 💛

I am comfortable with "asset" in a particular way.
For example, you are not an asset.
But all the support, inspiration and encouragement you give here, might be considered assets of 7 Cups.
They are not in the balance sheet, but without them (yours and those from all the people that contribute), Cups would be an empty shell.
Cups is a (brilliantly crafted, superb) container for these hugely valuable "assets", many, many, many made by you.
