What are you "known for" on 7 Cups??

 I gave a bit of my perspective when responding to WinterWren, but I thought to myself "self, let's add a bit more."

I'd like to be remembered for good things, if it helps others to remain connected to how they were helped by those things. I might like to hear someone say "he shared wisdom with love." Or maybe "he had a generous heart." Maybe something as simple as "I found him to be helpful." Oh yeah, it might be edifying to hear "he was a good listener."

Still, I realize that being remembered is far less important than simply have been of benefit in a way that is enduring.

Sharing love has a ripple effect, influencing people and outcomes quite possibly forever. I'm convinced that countless people have vastly improved the lives of others, without ever having received acknowledgment for their efforts. It's entirely possible that the course of human history has been changed, due to a simple act of kindness, and that act may have been so matter of course for the individual, that they never remembered it. Yet that individual may deserve to have their name written in the stars.

With that taken into consideration, I don't feel that I have any particular right or expectation to be remembered.

When looking at a great work of architecture like the Taj Mahal or a huge cathedral, how long was it before the people who actually did the work were forgotten, a decade or two? I think that's probably way longer than I'll be remembered.

I have some writing out in cyberspace, but my real name is not attached to it.

If I'm well thought of in the moment by people of integrity, then life is okay.

I honestly don't know though 😅 I don't think I've been here long enough to have a particularly thing to be remembered by, but I hope I do build a legacy and impact here <3

1. What do people think when they see my username?...Who knows. Maybe it is something like the thought process of a cat idling musing "what is that?" before something more interesting grabs its attention. Or it could be more akin to the attention paid to that funny bit of clear plastic which holds the straw on a juice carton...a brief distraction on the way to the good stuff. As to my reputation, I can only hope that it is that of being inoffensive, with every attempt made to be kind....but I suspect it might also be that I babble too much and use a dozen words when three would suffice.

2. What would I wish my legacy on cups to be?...Legacies are for legends and world shapers, and I am not numbered in those ranks. I shall unobtrusively tick along and leave the legacy building to those who truly make a difference, and shall wholeheartedly applaud them and their achievements.

1. I'm actually mostly inactive when it comes to forum posting - hoping this changes in the coming months but I never can be bothered :D However, I do think most of the users who had the experience of being heard out by me would know me as someone enthusiastic but realistic, honest and approachable. And a fab gay man, to be fair!

2. I just want to know I have helped people out. I don't expect gratitude or anything, I just want the satisfaction of knowing somebody felt heard out thanks to me being on here

I have no idea what others think when they see my username.

I try to shar with others they are not alone maybe present a different persepctive .. I get more than a few Thank you so that is rewarding if something I write helped.
