@Jamen1 My dog Teddy had a series of cluster seizures on Saturday and was hospitalized. She just came home today. She is heavily medicated. We are waiting to see how much she clears up. My prayer request is that her mind would be okay and she would have awareness and her old personality.
This has been pretty tough for us as a family b/c Teddy was the dog that the kids grew up with. There have been lots of tears here over the last couple of days. We remain hopeful.

Quick update on Ted - she had a 30% chance of survival and almost no chance that she would be okay cognitively. They were saying she would have profound brain damage. She survived and is now 85% of the way back to her old self and will continue to make gains.
Thank you all for your prayers. This has meant a lot to me and my family. A lot of tears were shed and now we think she is going to make a full recovery.

Thank you for sharing about Teddy. It reminded me of what happened to my cat last year. He suffered a severe seizure lasting about 30 minutes. The vet said that he was brain dead. We were devastated as a family, and just wanted to take him home for what we thought would be his last few days. Against all odds, he wasn’t brain dead. It took weeks of seeing the vet and continued treatments, but he’s still here with us today. While he unfortunately no longer has the cognitive abilities he had before, he’s still here, and that’s all that matters. Your dog Teddy is in my prayers. Thank you again for sharing. Fur babies will always be a special gift in our lives ❤️
Pray for my dying husband and my kids and the house we are not going to have in a week we will be homeless because comfort keepers who I worked for fired me after I worked 8.31 hours so we and so on gave them my oh and they gave me the boot because I called off to be with my sick husband. They put my heart and soul and taking care of people and they didn't even pay me my check we're not going to have rent we were already behind a month
So I am scared I don't even know why I am still trying

Thank you for taking prayer requests! I need prayer for caring for myself and my toddler while I am pregnant. I get so tired and my mood crashes, and then my toddler misbehaves and I react too harshly. Pray for wisdom as I figure out how to keep my son occupied when I need rest.

My country is hurting. There is fear in places that used to feel like home. Kidnapping. Killing. Violence that has become too common, too close. People are afraid to step outside, afraid to travel, afraid to even rest fully at night. Sleep doesn’t come easily anymore. Children are being taken. Teachers are being killed. Lives are being cut short in ways that make no sense, and it feels like those who are meant to act are silent. I am scared. For my life. For my family. For my friends. Even for people I have never met. Because no one deserves to live like this.
Sometimes I avoid the news, avoid my phone, because every headline feels like another wound. Another reminder that things are not okay.
So I am asking please pray for Nigeria.
Pray for protection over our land.
Pray for safety in our homes and on our roads.
Pray for comfort for families who have lost loved ones.
Pray for courage for those who live in fear every day.
