I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

when you first decide to approach someone about your sexuality - for instance, your parents - the first leap of faith is to have self-confidence. be confident in yourself and what you have to say to your parents. express yourself in a respectful way and use words of intelligence and reasoning. if your parents are homophobic, that is, they have problems with acceptance that their child (you) is a homosexual, please be prepared for some distancing in the conversation. use words that exude your confidence in your future life as an individual in society with no problems in self-identity. the future is now for you, as you have decided to move forward in life with promising results as a person with new resolve.
