Yes most definitely. Depression is commonly associated in lack of interests and the inflate our minor mistakes. Speaking from personal experience, when I went through depression, the things I loved to do before, I didn't even think about them anymore - let alone, even try. Depression can take your hobbies and the things you enjoy, and turn them into mundane chores. Once depression subsides, there is a good chance those interests might come back.
