I have a husband… what name shall I give him? On the day he left and walked away, I clung to his side, but I did not cry. My heart was breaking, but I stood strong. As he stepped away, leaving me behind, We began to part, our hearts began to bleed. He couldn't stay, and I couldn't stop him. I have a husband… what name shall I give him? I am his wife, yet no worry is shown, He never once asks how I am on my own. He just softly whispers, "Are you fine, my sweet daughters' mother?" How do I tell him how I live without him? It feels as though everything has lost its light— No color remains, no companion in sight. When you are not here, the world is desolate. I am a thirsty river, you are the rain. And when I ask softly, "How are you doing?" He answers in gestures… his eyes say it all: "I am merely surviving here… you are my life." I say, "I am." He says, "We are." Holding fast to the hope that we'll meet again one day. A part of him lives in me, and I remain in him. I have a husband… what name shall I give him? "Dil se nikle kuch lafz... Just wanted to share a piece of my heart here today. ❤️"

Nothing further then he uttered- not a feather then he fluttered- Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before- On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before." Then the bird said, "Nevermore." Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken, "Doubtless," said I, "what it utters is its only stock and store, Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful Disaster Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore- Till the dirges of his Hope that melancholy burden bore Of 'Never- nevermore'."
