New here & still getting used to navigating and learning what's out there. Hoping to get some help reducing stress and getting different perspectives on things. Gotta admit, a few of the chat rooms are a bit intimidating and, so far, I'm seeing mostly immature discussions with little actual addressing of issues. I'm thinking I'll stay out of most of those - I don't need that frustration. Lots of other resources, though!

I'm 38 years old with a young family living in a small remote location in Australia. Suddenly found myself with no friends to talk (vent) to about things I'd like to get off my chest and feel some reassurance about. Hoping that's what I can find here.

I've actually had some good conversations with several listeners. It's a safe atmosphere and the community teams work really hard for everyone to be in an encouraging and positive environment. Still learning my way around. I also like the personal growth path and community activities.

I go to the Home page and click on the menu with the Communities listed. I'll also visit the notifications and alerts I get from the Community threads I've joined. It's a way for me to keep up.
If you'd like to share that you would like a long-term listener, illI share what I did:
1. Share posts with others in your personal feed. You can mention about looking for a long-term listener.
2. Hit the menu and you'll see a section for listeners you can also search that way and look at their profiles.
