If, even after doing a lot of soul-searching, you cannot find a good reason for your sudden sadness, please see your family doctor for a physical and medical checkup. Make sure you don't have any hormones etc. out of balance, get a blood test done. For example, low thyroid function can cause depression-like symptoms. If there is nothing unusual found, you may benefit from seeing a mental health professional, to find out if there is anything from your life (past or present) that is causing you this deep sorrow.

No, there is not anything wrong with you. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what the cause of it was. But your feelings are real, and that's OK. You aren't a freak or weird.

No, there's nothing wrong with you. We have all felt depressed at one time or another. If it is interfering with your way of life, tell a doctor.

There is nothing wrong with you. Mental health is the same as physical health, it is something to be mindful of and to be taken care of. Some people's mental health needs more attention and work than others, but it doesn't mean something is wrong with any person. Its very positive that you recognized that you are feeling depressed. Thats a great first step in addressing your mental health needs and finding resources and actions that you can take to help you deal with whatever it is that is causing your depression. And its worth saying again, there is nothing wrong with you for having depression thoughts!

Try to meditate for a few minutes and don't let the depression destroy your whole day. It happens like this to me, too. I normally talk to my friend about it and I would feel better. Today I started with depressed mood in the morning time and it seems to be out of control but I spoke out and it comforts. All the techniques shift the attention to something else and you feel kind of relaxing from the tension. I hope my own experience can help you a bit. Cheer up and you would be just all right. Take care.
