What an amazing reminder and it's how I feel in my heart, but didn't quite have a way to say it as eloquently as you did! This is quite beautiful! 

With Valentines Day coming right around the corner, I have noticed that others recognize that day, maybe are feeling stressed and for some, it's a moment to think about what it is that they don't have instead of being grateful for what it is that they do. I could not agree with you more! Your "valentines" don't need to have a romantic inclination attached to it, at all. 

Having said that, Tiny, would give me the honor of being one of my valentines? ❤️ I think you are pretty fantastic and in fact, thus far you are the only person that I have asked. You da' first! 😊

@Tinywhisper11 Nice verses...I agree that friendship is wonderful (& essential), but Valentine's Day is always marketed as a holiday for romantic love. It's just another excuse to make a ton of products that no one really needs, & sell 'em to people who believe the holiday hype.

As for gold - You've never owned any, have you? It is inanimate, yes, but it's so pretty to look at...all shiny & luxe.

I have been trying to respond poetically, wondering if I succeeded. But here is what I thought and wrote:

In the tapestry of life, where every thread intertwines, Valentine's whispers to hearts beyond mere romantic lines.

It's a celebration of love, in every form and hue, For the bonds that sustain us, old and familiar or fresh and new.

Love's embrace extends beyond the pairs of lovers, so sweet; it finds its expression in family ties and friendships that, in silence, speak.

For the ones we've cherished and to heavens have bid farewell. Like soft echoes of love, their memories in our hearts forever dwell.

To the creatures, great and small, who share our earthly home. Their unconditional affection, a gift, freely roamed.

And to the world, with its beauty, pain, and strife. Love's a beacon, guiding us through every phase of life.

Friendship, that priceless gem, beyond the realm of trade. Its worth surpasses gold, with bonds that never fade.

💟 @slowdecline48  hehe :) My first thought was, you're cute.  As in that's cute and sweet of you to write and say for @TinyWhisper11, who is sooooo much more than (tiny).  Reading through these few pages, that is what I kept thinking, too (as I do every year when this comes up...):                                     Roses are red - some of them.  Violets are not blue; they are violet, or indigo?, or just purple!

💟 Then, someone told me there is no word in the English language that rhymes with "purple," if anyone knows a reference or who said this, I'd love to know!  Therefore... 

Some 🌹 roses are red, 

Many 🌼 daises are white with a yellow center, 

Perhaps I am not very romantic, 

But I really am a very good hugger!

💟 @tinyWhisper11, thank you for starting this giant Tiny mess :)  I fully agree with you.  While certain companies like to commercialize and make the marketeering of Valentine's Day into a contact sport, I am thankful you and others here have reminded us that anyone can be your Valentine.  It is not solely for boyfriend/girlfriend, those who are couples, or any sort of romantic relationship.  Valentine's Day can be celebrated and shared with everyone.  (And especially friends!!!)
