Community Event 2021: Gift the Gratitude
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and taking care of yourself, and enjoying the holiday season with your family, friends, and us (7 Cups Community).
Today I am inviting you to participate in the “Gift the Gratitude” Event during this holiday season. In this event, you can create and share anything or something like a
Thank you / Appreciation Note for Someone or the community
A greeting card
Origami or other craftwork
Drawings, Painting, or Sketches
- Any other form of artwork
Pictures of the food you cooked
Or anything or everything in between that you think can be shareable with an ease
All of the above can be either handwritten, handmade, or e-versions
You can tag someone specific to whom you want to give your creation to or you can dedicate it to the community as well. All you have to do is take the pictures of your creation, upload them in your comment (steps outlined below).
The goal of this event is to celebrate and enjoy the holiday season together as a community regardless of the regions we are in. And, also practice the art of giving and gifting to make a difference in someone’s day. As many of you know, our community is based on a gift economy and promotes the culture of giving through listening, supporting, and other ways. So this would be a way to practice that culture together this holiday season and spread cheers, smiles, and joy in each other's lives with our compassionate efforts.

Steps to upload the picture of your gifts!
Step 1. Click on the “Reply” button to post your comments, thoughts, and pictures.
Step 2. Click on the image icon as shown below to open the Image Upload Pop-up Box
Step 3. Click on the “Choose Files” button to go to your computer’s files & folders section or phone’s gallery. Select the pictures you want to upload and submit them. It will get uploaded and displayed in the Reply Dialog Box. Then, click on the “Add Post” button and Voil ! You shared your gifts of gratitude with your friends and community. :)
If you experience any challenge or trouble with uploading pictures, please do let us know and we will help you out.

Hi Obs! 😊❤️ Great concept! This sounds really sweet. Oddly enough, I had to admit "nextdoor" on another forum post here, only moments ago, that I was tagged on, that navigating the forum areas just isn't quite my forte' as of yet (at least uploading pics). All part of a learning curve I guess.
Doing my best to recognize my strengths and play to them while also recognizing my weaknesses and working on them. Maybe down the road this could be something I could work on as well.
In the meantime, I will continue to practice the "gift of gratitude" here on this site towards others and on the daily! *hugs* ❤️ and stay great! 😊
