being a listener will give the satisfaction of knowing that you've helped someone, it gives that good feeling and you also may gain some experience for later in life.

On 7 Cups you get to interact with REAL people with REAL issues. The listener may start showing compassion to themselves as well, after demonstrating love to the member.

To be fortunate enough & blessed in our own lives, it's time to give back to our community, and serve as a supportive role, to empower others who may need help - after all, we've all gone through hard times before, and didn't we all have the thought cross our minds that "I wish someone would just listen to what I have to say"?

You should be a listener because nothing helps you feel better like helping other people who have been through the same situations as you.

As a listener who only joined a few hours ago, I have already helped almost a dozen people. It feels so good knowing that I have made someone smile and accept my advice. It's a blessing when people reach out for your help. Become a listener, you won't regret it.

I became a 7Cups listener because I wanted to lend an ear and share the same happiness and peace that this site brought me. I wanted to in a way, "give back" to 7Cups and I'm very happy I did :)

I should be a 7cups listener because I know in this world there are many people that need help or advice to face their life problems. Even someone who have people around them facing difficult times alone because people nowadays rarely have free time to just sit and be a listener. I experience it myself and I know that feeling when you have nobody to talk to. And that's the reason why I should be a 7cups listener, to make a change in this world.

Not only is it rewarding to know that you've helped others, but it's always a time where we can think about others and get our minds off of our own struggles. It's a healthy break. Sometimes, by helping others, we're lucky enough to be able to somehow manage to help ourselves. Don't ask me how, but it really does work.

You should be a 7Cups listener because it's always good to help others. I feel like if you've gone through things and have come out a stronger person, it's best to share your story, and to help others overcome their struggles as well.

Being a 7Cups listener can be beneficial for both the listener and the speaker. The speaker can be encouraged to know that someone is taking time out of their day to listen to their concerns and the listener is able to reach out to someone and need and lend a supportive ear- something many people need.
