Please recommend a weight loss program

...See more Hi everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a weight loss program and would appreciate hearing what has worked for others. I’m 33 years old, female, and around 180 pounds. I’ve been trying to compare different options, including GLP-1 programs, but I’m not sure how to choose between them or what factors matter most besides price. I found this GLP-1 program calculator from Peptides.io: https://peptides.io/tools/cost-calculator/ and it lets you compare options, pill vs. shot, and cash-pay vs. insurance. Has anyone used a tool like this to narrow down providers? For someone in my situation, which type of weight loss program would you recommend looking into first? I know I’d need to talk to a doctor before starting anything, but I’m trying to understand what questions to ask and what red flags to watch for when comparing programs.

Fitness Groups - Outside the Niche

...See more I've joined some groups in the past where I'm not the targeted demographic and have recently signed up for a set of classes like this again. Has anyone else done this? What types of classes/groups have you joined? The targeted group I would actually fit is too niche, so I joined others at times and make them work.

Avoiding Deconditioning when Injured
by AffyAvo

...See more I'm recovering from some broken bones and I'm trying my best not to lose strength and endurance.  I know it's not reasonable to avoid with the injured limb. Even out of the cast there's very restricted lifting that's advised. What about the rest of my body though? I'm trying. The inflammation (and healing?) seems to be triggering other health issues and my fatigue is flared. I don't know if I can exercise with the same intensity and trying to keep both sides somewhat equal hasn't been going great.

...See more Good morning, I'm writing just to check in that I'm committed to curing myself from diabetes through food and exercise and I've come a long way already and acknowledge that I still have more work to do for myself. My fasting blood sugar this morning is 147 which is 50 points higher or more from my goal to be healthy. For the first time, I've begun 8-10 mile hikes and it feels good to get that much walking and talking in with a nice friend. Alright, well, it's time for me to start moving so I'll be on my way.

First day of Workout

...See more My first day was really excited and really challenging. Starting my work out day at 5am has really made the day go by fast. i have started off by doing Calisthenics, and only allowing myself to do 2 -3 reps of ten for for, abs sides, legs. ive also set a timer for five minutes a day of mediation and and stretching. After some weight loss it's easier to bend and move. And I have found myself able to move more and feel really good stretches. my last work out for tonight is assisted squats and jackknife squats. In truth I would rather work legs all day than arms. I'm doing both. But I do favor legs more. I am currently 299.4 pounds and I am more motivated than ever. My goals are to get healthy, so I can relieve my type two diabetes. Chase my kids and play with them. and my one selfish personal goal. I want to wear a sexy body hugging red dress. Just to walk around target and look for all the clearance items. in just as motivated now as I was this morning and I Know I will hit my Goal weight of 130lbs I hope you all have a positive and Happy day. If you don't, just remember, a group of students at Harvard had to study the consistency of different poop in size color and solid to liquid ratio. Just to get graduate. At least you don't have to study poop.

...See more Here is what you do: Start with a list of simple exercises such as 10 jumping jacks, five push-ups, 20 squats, a 1-minute plank and mix them with “find-and-do” challenges such as “find something green,” “take a selfie doing a yoga pose,” or “touch a tree”. Where to do this activity: Indoors or outdoors. It is a perfect activity for parks, backyards, or even living rooms. Why the activity is fun: It blends movement, exploration, and a bit of silliness, making fitness feel more like a game than a workout. Have fun!
