...See more I’ve noticed I tend to take on more for others than I probably should, and I’m trying to be more intentional about how I manage that I value being supportive, but I also want to get better at setting clear boundaries and not overextending myself For those who’ve figured this out, what’s helped you stay balanced without feeling like you’re pulling back too much? Would appreciate any practical tips or mindset shifts that worked for you

...See more Hello everyone. I have undiagnosed ADHD PTSD POTS and more. But today I want to focus on POTS POTS stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. In a short paragraph that doesnt even begin to cover what we go through POTS can be explained like this: Living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) is a daily struggle with an "invisible" autonomic nervous system disorder. The hallmark symptom is a dramatic heart rate spike upon standing, which can lead to dizziness, fainting, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Beyond the heart, POTS affects the entire body, causing debilitating chronic fatigue, "brain fog" that disrupts memory and focus, gastrointestinal issues, and poor temperature regulation. Because the body fails to properly circulate blood while upright, even simple tasks like showering or standing in line can feel like running a marathon, often leaving patients trapped in a cycle of unpredictable "flares" that impact their work, social life, and mental well-being. As you see life with POTS is not easy. And my life as a person with undiagnosed POTS is not easy. You will ask "Why dont you go to a doctor?"  My answer is simple. I m a minor. And my parents and siblings dont believe me. They say it's because of my screen time or for not eating well. And yeah that makes it worse. But I stopped caring for what they said. I m not complaining about it anymore and I ignore it. I know its not alright. But I need to survive somehow. Thanks for reading. Tell me your experience with disorders like these.

...See more hey guys! so ive been trying to take better care of myself lately, not just my body but also my mind lol. i realized that even tiny things can actually make a big difference. here’s some stuff ive been doing: 1) move a bit everyday – sometimes just 10 min walk or stretch. makes me feel more awake and less stressed. 2) take a few deep breaths – or think about something im grateful for, really helps when my brain wont stop. 3) eat more colors – fruits and veggies make me feel more energized and less lazy. 4) sleep stuff – try to stay off my phone 30 min before bed, my sleep got better lol. 5) check in with myself – writing feelings down or just noticing them makes stress easier sometimes. i was wondering, what lil habits do u guys do that actually help u feel better? maybe we can share tips and help each other out.

...See more Some days, you’re not lazy. 🌙 You’re just mentally tired. The kind of tired that doesn’t show, the kind that lives quietly between thoughts, while the world keeps asking you to move faster. 🍃 We call it procrastination, but sometimes it’s a mind asking for mercy. 🤍 *When did you last rest without feeling guilty? *When did you last check in with yourself—honestly? *Are you offering yourself the same patience you give others? 🌱 Healing is subtle. Growth is quiet. And some days, progress looks like choosing gentleness. ✨ If this speaks to you— *what has your mind been carrying lately? 💭

...See more Hey everyone!  I noticed that unfortunately 90% of my day I'm staring at a screen, it's a hard challenge to stay healthy when you have to keep sitting on a chair and work on your pc for many hours , like even if you are very careful you would usually still find yourself sitting with a shrimp like back posture  🦐, so how do you guys usually manage to take care of your back and eyes in today's world that's full of electronics and screens? 🧑🏻‍💻

What are your thoughts on intermittent fasting?
by ScorpiaD
Last post
March 28th, 2025
...See more Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that alternates between periods of eating and fasting. Rather than focusing on what you eat, it emphasizes when you eat. Common methods include the 16/8 approach (fasting for 16 hours and eating within an 8-hour window) or the 5:2 method (eating normally for five days and limiting calories for two non-consecutive days). IF may help with weight loss, improve metabolic health, and reduce inflammation, though more research is needed. It’s important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any fasting regimen to ensure it’s safe for your health. With that being said, what are your thoughts on IF?

...See more Hi, I saw another post about losing weight, and I have a few questions. How do you know when you have a healthy weight? I searched up the "healthy weight range" for someone my age and height and I am a little over the "healthy weight." And when you have a "healthy weight" should you still feel and look fat? I forgot to mention  I also found out I weigh 23 pounds more than my boyfriend.  Are there certain things I should limit eating? most of the time I don't eat that much maybe toast, a few snacks and dinner, but anything in particular??  I dislike wearing anything other then my jacket. Due to the fact that I look fat. So what should I do?
