🌷 Tulip Awards Update: New Milestones & Recognition System
by Hope
Last post
April 27th
...See more Hi everyone! Hope you’re doing well. We’re introducing an updated way of recognizing the consistent, long-term support our listeners provide through the Tulip Award system 🌷 While the purpose remains the same, celebrating meaningful, ongoing support, we’ve added milestone certificates to better reflect sustained impact over time. You will still receive a Tulip badge for each valid nomination, and nominations will continue to be member-led. Support must reflect long-term engagement (minimum ~1 month) through PMs, forums, or chatrooms, and the listener must not be a newbie. Here are the new milestone certificates: 🏅 Active Listening Recognition Certificate – awarded after 10 nominations 🎖️ Active Listening Contribution Certificate – awarded after 50 nominations 🥇 Active Listening Excellence Certificate – awarded after 100 nominations 🏆 Active Listening Legacy Certificate – awarded after 300 nominations New Additions! * Tulips will no longer reset each year. Instead, they will continue accumulating over time, allowing you to work toward these milestones. * Another update is that nomination messages will now be visible to the nominee. Previously, reasons were shared privately for eligibility checks, but moving forward, nominators will provide a positive public review so listeners can see exactly why they’ve been appreciated. * Reaching 10 or more Tulip nominations will also count as an elective in the Quality Listening Program (see linked post for details). [https://www.7cups.com/forum/qlp/AnnouncementsandUpdates_2201/NewElectivesforQLPTrainees_380194/] Important note: All past nominations will count toward these milestones, but only for individuals who continue to receive at least one new nomination moving forward. Certificates will not be issued retroactively unless a new nomination is received, as we’re unable to manually track past eligibility for everyone. This update is about recognizing those who consistently show up and make a meaningful difference over time. If someone has supported you throughout your journey, take a moment to appreciate them 🌷 Start nominating here! Gifting your 7cups Listener Peer a Badge! All about Badge Nominations.

...See more Did you know you can nominate your listener peers for badges? When you really appreciate someone, you might leave them a rating or review, thank them through the peer appreciation program form [https://tinyurl.com/PeerAppreciation], or nominate them for a tulip 🌷 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/PositivityGratitude_170/AppreciationGratitude_1159/ProjectTulip_224864/], but did you know you can give them a shiny new badge to add to their collection too?! Here's the step-by-step! First, visit your amazing peer's page. Then, scroll down to their badge collection. At the end of the list, you should see an orange button that says "Nominate for a New Badge" When you click it, you will open a page with a list of options! Depending on your role on Cups, these will vary a bit. Here are some examples of what you might see. By selecting the gray Nominate button on the right, you'll see this screen where you can briefly explain why your peer deserves this new badge! One more thing! Listeners can nominate themselves for a badge too 👀 Here's how: First, select "my path" from the drop-down menu. Pick "my impact." By scrolling past your badges, you will see an orange button that says "Apply for special badges." That's it! Go forth and gift badges 😊💚

Would You Keep Your Own Problems?

...See more Hi everyone! I’m new here and wanted to share a thought that recently made me pause and feel really grateful for the things I have in my life. I saw a video where someone said: “If everyone in the world put their problems into a hat, and you could either keep your own problems or randomly pick someone else’s from the hat… which would you choose?” It made me realize that even though we all struggle with things, we also know our own challenges and have learned how to live with them.  What do you think? Would you keep your own problems, or take the chance of picking someone else’s?

Tulip Awardees - Jan 2026

...See more Hi everyone! I hope you are well. Time to announce our latest tulip awardees. Please note the Tulip counter has been reset for the new year!  What is this award for? For listeners who have supported members in PMs, forums or chatrooms. The key is that you have been supported personally and it has been a long term support. Think of this award as a way to acknowledge the long-term support provided by a listener.  Rules * Only members can nominate.  * One member can nominate up to 3 listeners every month * You can nominate the same listener once every 3 months if the person is still supporting you.  Who qualifies to be nominated? * Apart from the above instructions, the listener must not be a newbie (this indicates they have indeed provided long-term support).  🌷Are you a member? You can nominate a listener for the tulip badge here. [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeCrC7eiEUitA1VViL-On8JLtRxSYDvO5GdSHJDaBPusNQUcw/viewform] Now let's take a look at our nominees! thewhispherfriend 🌷 WillingToHelpU 🌷 Sunisshiningandsoareyou 🌷 SparkyGizmo 🌷 SparklingSeashells 🌷 Kitsies 🌷🌷 Jennifire 🌷 @thewhispherfriend @WillingToHelpU @Sunisshiningandsoareyou @SparkyGizmo @SparklingSeashells @Kitsies @Jennifire
